Tasted much better than this
Yeuck!Not the baklava I rember from Greece, sticky and full of pistachio and other nuts, drizzled in honey and flavoured with roseThe oil or grease or whatever use in making tasted stale and overly oily & the nuts were flavourless and bland tasting. The filo pastry was soggy with no crispy bite.Won't be getting this brand again and can't really recommend either as I feel it was expensive for what it was supposed to be considering the poor quality.

Best baklava I've tasted, except home-made.
Have bought these direct from Lakeland several times and they are absolutely delicious. Sticky, nutty, sweet and a lovely crunch from the filo pastry.They are only for treats though as the price is a bit prohibitive, hence the 4 stars. Although, it can be worth paying that bit extra and getting a proper treat, rather than paying a little less, and getting disappointing, poor quality baklava that you find in most supermarkets. Another good point is that they are individually wrapped for freshness so the box lasts ages once opened.
