I was a little sceptical about how this would work. My 2 year old cockapoo barks constantly at anything and anyone. It’s that bad my neighbours have complained. I thought I would give the collar a go. After a few times of barking she stopped as she didn’t like the beeping noise. After a few hours I took the collar off and haven’t had to put it back on again! I was a little nervous at first thinking is this cruel?! But seeing it in action it didn’t hurt her but was enough to stop the uncontrollable barking.

Delighted with all aspects of this purchase. Easy to use website, prompt delivery and the dog collar itself has already been a big success in reducing the amount of barking my dog does. He is an 11 month old black lab who barked incessantly when he heard any noise from outside, be it a car engine, car door or a voice. We have had the collar for less than a week and can’t believe the difference from the start. Our dog has quickly associated the beep sound with his barking. The beep doesn’t always go off on the first bark or two so we do have the occasional woof but we are happy with that. Great value and excellent customer service.

This worked a treat on our young cocker spaniel, who would bark incessantly at my husband most evenings and whenever the cats decided to grace us with their presence. Training the dog, who is a determined little herbert, is far easier than training hubby to train the dog, so I thought I'd give this a go despite hubby's protestations.It has worked brilliantly! We have had barely a muffled woof out of him since I bought it a couple of weeks ago. From the outset, it has only had to emit one "beep" and the dog stops barking and comes to us for reassurance. We haven't got to the second, longer, "beep" yet, never mind the vibrations. He is a reformed dog!I would say, we don't leave it on him all the time, mainly in the evenings and weekends when we're with him and only when supervised as he tends to eat anything he can get his paws on. I like the fact that he comes to us whenever he sets the collar off - the collar is correcting him, not us, so I prefer to be there when it happens. Saying that, he started chewing a cushion the other day - his collar was off so I blew into the hole in the back as you would when testing it and he stopped in his tracks. I daresay we could use the collar to stop other undesirable behaviours as it seems to have worked with the barking issue. We are putting the collar on less frequently already.I would definitely recommend this collar - I'm only slightly kicking myself for not ignoring hubby and buying one sooner! I wonder if it could cure snoring... ;-)

2 of our dogs bark a lot at noises and set each other off. We can stop them, but we were going on holiday and their lovely dog sitter struggles to get them to listen so we got two different collars to help her for the week. First they were exactly the same just in different boxes (I am doing exactly the same review for both the collars) and secondly it was truly awful as the collar is set off no matter what dog is barking. We did reset the sensitivity and that didn't work. It even goes off when sitting on the desk and the dogs bark. This is not humane. It is cruel. To make matters worse, it is not just a vibration. It is a truly unpleasant buzzing like an electric shock. When set off on the desk it shocked us to pick it up in our hand.

GENIUS! I have a 3 year old Yorkie who barks at absolutely everything. Incessantly! After trying every trick in the book, I came across this gift from the Gods! AND IT WORKS! Hurrah!Fairly simple to set up, using instructions. It arrived this week & I only put it on her at ‘peak barking’ times ie neighbours arriving home at teatime or if she’s out in the garden for a while! Come 5pm she started with the barking but the beeping & vibration of the collar stopped her in mid sesh! Barking dulled to a low rumble in the throat (still trying to make her voice heard!) but beeping picked up on this & she stopped! Fantastic results & highly recommend this product.Only slightly negative point - my Yorkie has a tiny neck & we just managed to adjust the collar to fit but had to cut approx 6ins off. Might be a good idea to make the collars smaller for the tiny dogs due to the wastage (but maybe I bought the wrong size!)One happy customer :)

We'd tried a different dog bark collar but the batteries kept running out after a day or so, and it didn't seem to be that effective. This collar has worked miracles! Our dog wore it for a few hours one day and it stopped her from barking for the next week. She only barked twice each time with it on, so didn't need to work through the whole range of deterrents. I'm sure we'll have to use it again, but it certainly seems to work. If anything I'm a little concerned at how effective it's been:it makes me wonder just how terrible the beep was for her! My only criticism is that I wish it would let the dog bark once without any repercussions. Dogs communicate by barking, so we've always been fine with the odd bark, it was just the continuous barking that was causing us issues.

Shocking product. Bought this for my dog who barks when ever anyone comes to the door or walks by. I wanted to leave enough time before reviewing! So, the strap it attaches too was forever coming loose, whilst that’s not the end of the world, it got very annoying constantly doing it up. Secondly, we had it up to the most sensitive setting and it didn’t go off when she barked, yet it my other dog barked then it would go off!! We also found that whilst the noise may have been slightly puzzling to my girl, she carried on regardless!! On the whole I wouldn’t recommend this at all! The sensitivity on it was poor, it definitely had a mind of its own and the strap was poor quality. For the price I was very disappointed and would have returned it had it been within the returns window to do so. Save your money and try something else.
