High quality almond paste!
I use about 2 pounds of almond paste each December for a delicious Dutch pastry called "banket" (1/2 pound required for each batch). The Mandelin almond paste is so much better than anything I can find in the local stores. And it stores much better too. I had about 1/4 each of some store bought almond paste and the Mandelin almond paste left over from my December baking. After about 2 months in the refrigerator, the leftover store bought almond paste was as hard as a rock and impossible to use. However the leftover Mandelin almond paste was as good as new and made some fantastic cookies! I will not waste my money on the store bought almond paste again.

Excellent flavor and texture
I use this instead of marzipan to cover fruitcakes. It is very easy to handle and rolls out to the perfect thickness with just a light dusting of powdered sugar to prevent sticking. The flavor is nicely balanced with 66% almond and 34% sugar; not overly sweet and without that overpowering almond extract taste. I don't know why the review thing wanted a star rating for "sheerness", but this almond paste is 5-star in every way that matters, and I recommend it for home cooks without reservation.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!
First let me say this is possibly the BEST Almond Paste I have ever used!! Super fresh, tasty, not sugary like other fake products. The consistency of this product is great also! I made cherry almond Frangipane and plain almond frangipane (see pix ) from now on, I will only be using this brand from this AMAZING company.The pure flavor and consistency of my frangipane was superb. The customer service from this company is truly unmatched!

Almond goodness...
Excellent quality! I prefer those that have more almonds than sugar and this does. Only downside is it's hard to stop eating :-) In addition to the container, the one's I've received are also in a resealable bag within the container. Continued use of this seems to help keep it fresh and moist. If you damage the seal you can easily swap it out with a Ziploc or some other resealable bag or choice. I haven't gotten the large one yet as I'm not sure I'd work my way through that much marzipan, but it's a good deal if you need that much instead of this smaller size. Enjoy!

This stuff is like candy
I wasn't able to find this anywhere locally so I had to order it here. I try not to order things from Amazon, but in this case I had to. While it is expensive, the taste and quality is worth the cost, especially if you are making a traditional fruit cake covered in marzipan. It rolls out very well and doesn't dry out. Great stuff. (Next time I'll look into making my own to reduce the cost)

The taste was most important and the texture of the almond paste. Both were good.
Low price good taste. Free shipping. Wished it was on amazon prime for 2 day shipping. It took over 9 days to receive. Made a breakfast pastry with the almond paste.

Great.
It’s a hit and miss in my family but that’s just because marzipan itself is a very specific taste. But I like that it’s natural and has no artificial coloring.My sister and niece absolutely love it. My niece especially plows through it like it’s ice cream. 😂😂😂 I enjoy it a lot too, but I have to be in the right mood. I don’t eat many sweets or nuts so. It’s a specifically timed desire for me.My niece is almost four and she is a food hound. She will eat almost ANYTHING, but has her favorites (tomatoes are one— she’s the cliche Italian half-blood). She just absolutely loves food. I’ve seen her eat things you would never imagine a baby to enjoy and she takes it better than most adults. Hot foods, sour, bitter ones. Black coffee. Martini Olives. 80% dark chocolate. Etc.She’s been known to overindulge in fatty foods (turkey skin and chocolate pie) on holidays and projectile reverse-indulge soon thereafter …. at the table… on the dinner plate. And I was trying to avoid a repeat scenario of that.So I was feeding it to my girl and I said “You can have as much as you want… but it’s very rich.”And she looked me in the eye and goes, “I LIKE rich people.”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣So. There you go.

Italian pinolli cookies
I used this amazing Mandelin almond paste to make Italian Pinolli cookies for Easter. The cookies turned out amazing ! The almond paste was a little thicker then I expected so they took a little more time to blend with the remaining ingredients , but it was SO worth it. They turned out terrific ! I will definitely use this product again & again. I would gladly recommend this product !
