The extractor saved the day and worked perfectly. I'm not one to leave a positive review (you should expect a product to work, right?) but this worked so perfectly and saved me so much headache.I had an 18mm nut frozen solid on a steering stabilizer. Whoever put this on last torqued it to 9000 foot pounds. All my efforts to bust it free left me with a mangled nut that no sockets would grab ahold of. I tried hammering on a 17mm, and rounded it further. Vice grips had no hope. I tried a bolt extractor kit from Farbor Hreight and that was junk and a waste of time. I searched Amazon for this type (spiral grooves) and there are many cheaper ones to choose from, but this was my last shot and I wanted a high quality tool that was going to work first time. This was also the most complete set with all the main socket sizes. Many other sets skip the 15mm and 18mm, if they even go up that high.Package arrived the next day. I hammered on the 18mm extractor and it STILL wouldn't budge with a 24 inch breaker bar. So I had to bust out the 4 foot pipe for leverage. This sucker was TIGHT. I was about to give up and get the cutting wheel out when finally it broke loose. I'm a big guy and I can torque to 200 ft/lbs no problem. It took 5 feet of leverage and the extractor socket never slipped and shows no signs of failure.10/10, 5 stars, I'll never be afraid to strip a nut again.

It’s helped me take off countless nuts and bolts with stripped heads, which most mechanics would just drill and tap new threads for. Also, it has wider ranges of sizes then other sets that you can buy here on Amazon, so would 10/10 recommend this to someone who’s deciding which set is best for their rusty needs!

Excellent tool. The 3/8 and 1/2 drive options are great.

Had a bolt head round off on a wheel hub removal. Used the 15mm extractor and the bolt was out in a couple minutes. I would think the performance of these extractors are dependent on how rounded your head is. Mine was bad enough that a socket would grip, but still has some ridge left.Kit looked quality and a nice assortment of sizes. I’d buy this again, but it’ll probably last a long while for me.

Sockets snapped with not to much force .

Used it twice now it these sockets grabbed the stripped bolts and pulled them right on out now problem

I simply applied pressure to the 16 and the 15 with a 3 foot breaker bar, and both broke immediately. Don't bother with these.
