oblivion what a great game
i bought the xbox 360 elite at christmas and was advised to get oblivion as its like a medievil GTA,i now have played 47hr and cant not leave this game alone its the best the loading screen ok is alittle longbut not 2min at max 50sec which if you cant wait even, if it was 2min then you must go crazy when your at alton towerswaiting 30min-1hr for a ride. anyway this game is at best1)massive map to explore2)quest are indepth with story and can be short or a long quest3)can create your character and choose your powers which you level up after your skills increase4)tons of differant weapons to choose from swords, axe, bow, dagger, staff also you can create weapons with magicfor mass effect.etcetcdont get me wrong i love gtA and will buy the new one when its out, but heres the downloadif you want a game with tons of blood, getting guns to blast the crap out of things with shortmissions, smaller (then oblivion) map but get fast cars and have funky stuts go for and stickto GTAoblivion is like GTA except medievil time, bigger map, indepth story line, longer missions, and more of a roleplay game.as for glitches nearly all games have glitches its just one of the things that come with it but on the xbox and pcyou can download patches for free to stop stuff like this.my last advice is as this is a long game if you only play it for an hour you may not get alot done at least 2-3hourswould be at best, also when you start it may be a bit slow at start but take your time and it gets much better.if your still not sure rent the game for £3.50, borrow a friends or dowbload and keep for a weekand then you can see what its like and if you dont it's only cost you £3.50 at max thats what i do with gamesborrow or rent best idea.

OBLIVION ON XBOX ONE S
This game looks allot better than on the xbox 360. The colours are vibrant and the textures are sharp. Walking speed is allot faster. Very similar to the PC version. There is sometimes a framerate lag if there is allot of scenery on screen but doesnt happen that often. I have always preferred Oblivion over Skyrim and am glad it has been enhanced for XBOX one S AND X.

Game fine but disc and enclosed map a little shabby for something that was advertised as "better than average quality", no instructions or info included.

Oblivion is excellent But standard editions Dont Miss Out
Hi,I got my collectors edition and it broke, boo hoo. It includes a coin a booklet giving you details on the history of the different regions of tamriel (the land you play in) and a special dvd making of. All these items are pretty useless, and although i did have to buy the standard edition in the end those of us who had to do with it arent missing out on much. first off the history booklet contains details which you could read about in the game anyway, secondly the dvd makers disc contains the usual stuff you dont need to know about. Lastly and probably the most annoying is that the coin is made from heavy hard metal that has a sort of plastic paint coating, which means it hurts your nails when you flick it, and it doesnt make a ping sound like Two Face's coin in batman when you toss it.It looks pretty ugly aswell and if you drop it on your foot you're done for.Overall, the game is a must have, the only games i bought a 360 for is Oblivion and Dead or Alive 4, both games ensure my satisfaction of paying full price for the 360, if i didnt have these i would MASSIVELY regret buying a 360. You just dont need the extra stuff in the collectors edition, spend the extra tenner on a Pizza, or some rechargable batteries.P.S. If you are thinking about buying a PC version remember, with half decent hardware consoles never ever come close to a PC's power, you get what you pay for.

Disappointed!
As I wanted to play Skyrim, i decided to start with the first from the series. It looks and play like an old game used for the Sega TV games. One of the "small" things as example: while riding the horse you are able to climb mountains at almost 90 degrees.

Better than Skyrim
This game has too much in to cover it all and you'll just have to take my word that it's better than Skyrim. I've been playing this since 2007 and have never got bored of it at all since there is so much to do. There is more variety in Oblivion's quests than Skyrims, the game is more beautiful, the world is more interesting, the DLC is better such as The Shivering Isles, The Knights of the Nine, new hideouts and dungeons the list goes on.My 3rd favorite game of the 7th generation. 5/5

Elder Scrolls Rule
I've been a little late joining the Elder Scrolls universe, but considering everyone was screaming their excitement about Skyrim I thought I'd start with oblivion.Admittedly I wasn't too sure when I first started, but since my character has advanced I'm really getting into it.The Elder Scrolls games should become the basis that all 3D roamers should aspire to be.
