Is this suitable for cats?

maxxiSAMe is suitable for both dogs and cats. We actually offer a smaller container specifically for cats. It is the same product (ingredients) but it comes in a smaller container (90 gr instead of 150 gr), making it more suitable size for single cat households. It also comes with a smaller scoop (1 g instead of 2.5 g), as cats servings as significantly smaller than most dogs.

Still, many cat owners buy the dog version, especially those with many cats that needs maxxiSAMe for either liver or cognitive function.

Is this product vegetarian - our dog has allergies and can't have meat or fish derived things?

Is this ok to be given alongside salmon oil?

Thank you very much for your interest in maxxiSAMe which we really appreciate. maxxiSAMe is a fully natural supplement and as such can normally be given alongside other natural supplements. However, if a dog has a specific medical condition and / or is taking any medication or undergoing any kind of Veterinary treatment, we do recommend consulting your Vet before giving any new supplementation, just to be on the safe side.

Should you give maxxisame powder to a healthy dog?

maxxiSAMe contains only natural ingredients. Most of our customers do use it for specific health conditions (to support liver, cognitive and joint health) but it is perfectly fine to give maxxiSAMe to healthy dogs as well.

maxxiSAMe actually offers excellent health support for healthy senior dogs. We have 2 healthy senior dogs ourselves (9 and 11 years old) and we give them maxxiSAMe every other day as a general health support.
