these plates are no joke. Thick and sturdy. Definitely a step up from chinette. perfect for what i needed to use them for.

Purchased for a baby shower. These plates have a light faux wood look. They are heavy sturdy plates. Very worth it. Will purchase again.

Didn’t want tacky paper plates for a garden party but didn’t want to use my china outside so I came upon this creative option. Guests loved the look and that they were made from palm leaves. Sturdy - we used real silverware not plastic utensils and the plates held up well. Slight smell but nothing obnoxious. Would buy again!

Love these plates. Very distinctive and sturdy. Problem was noone wanted to throw them away! They could be reused if you gently wash them. Will definitely be purchasing them again!

Now, this is definitely a more environmentally friendly option for sure. These are made from palm leaves and resemble sort of a balsam wood type strength - heavy enough for most foods but will eventually snap with enough pressure. Being a harder type surface you can easily wash them and use them a few times if you want to be frugal with them.You do certainly pay a premium for this; but ultimately these are a more fancy disposable option for guests when you don't necessarily want to use basic white disposable plates.

These plates are a great option for desserts and side dishes at a party, or for doing less dishes around the house. The plates are very sturdy, hold even very liquidy foods without compromising their strength, and can have tough foods cut on them without destructive damage.The plates look very attractive, and can hold a lot of weight for their size. These have served their purpose quite well so far, a little shallower than we had expected, but they’ve been great for the likes of cake or pie.They’re very durable, hold up exceptionally well.Definitely recommend.
