Very nice
Very nice keyless chuck suitable for a drill press. The JT33 taper fits my Delta 12 drill press. The factory chuck was horrible. Hard to tighten. This chuck holds the bits securely. Very nice machining. Quite large and heavy. Well worth the price. Also added a laser guide and now it seems like I have a new drill press only better.

Excellent Product
I bought this chuck to replace seized keyed chuck. The chuck is being used on a medium sized drill press from China at our carpentry facility in Cameroon Africa. It is used constantly and occasionally it would come undone from the drill press when doing heavy jobs. We fixed this by applying one drop of super glue to the drill press spindle before tapping the new chuck back on. If it ever fails in the future, heating the chuck up with a torch will soften the glue enough to remove it again.I highly recommend this chuck. It hold drill bits of all sizes up to 1/2" securely.

ITEMS USED IN CHUCK WILL NOT STAY CHUCKED
This chuck is precision, I will say that. It also looks real good. The worse part is that items will not stay tight in chuck. I tried to tighten by hand as much as possible to hold bit, but it comes loose after only a few usages.Tighten drills with wrenches on Chuck. I cannot find out who warranties this product.

It's okay but certainly not an Albrecht.
It's much better than what came on my cheapo drillpress. But for most drilling I must tighten the chuck with a spanner wrench or the drill will slip. So instead of using a chuck key, now I'm using a spanner wrench to tighten my drill chuck. Hmm, not sure this was a huge improvement? Oh well it looks sexy on my Ryobi drillpress. Get what ya' pay for.

Excellent grip and ease of use
I can't compare this with other keyless chucks since this is the only one I own, but it works great, seems to be very well made, turns effortlessly, holds the bit with just a snug of the chuck. So it's doing everything it's supposed to do. I measured the runout and it's .002-3, so well within what you'd expect. With all the variables of the quill, chuck and the drill bit itself, I'm surprised it's so low. I'm happy with this product and would recommend it.

Well made
Low runout and the machining quality is good. It is a bit stiff to one and close but that isn't fatal. For me, the problem is that it is so long that on a mini mill I can't fit anything under it once it has a drill bit in it.

Excellent chuck for smaller drill Presses!
Great fit and finish, easy installation on my drill press (a ShopFox W1668). This check halved the runout on my particular press from 0.005" to less than 0.003". Holds the smallest and the largest drill bits you are likely to use in a drill press with ease. Two minor quibbles: It doesn't come with a pin-type spanner wrench, even though it accepts one, and the chuck action is a bit stiff - I'm hoping it will loosen-up a bit with use.

Reduced Runout
Mounted to drill press and run out was cut down to .004. Not bad. Product has functioned very well and quality seems to be well ahead of price. Minus one star for no spanner wrench and mystery manufacturing.
