Good book with some useful information
Very good book.It goes through the basics of both caring for and riding horses. As it's written by the BHS the information is accurate.As it is level 1 there isn't much depth into the information but it does give a good base to build upon.

A great book for level 1. Very straight forward and simple to understand. Would definitely recommend for anyone doing a level 1 or for someone who just wants to know more about horses.

Detailed but expensive.
A lot of information on basic horse care, including lots of pictures and diagrams. Perfect for horse owners and also first time owners. However, a bit on the expensive side, especially if you are buying the other 3 BHS horsemanship books.
