JVL 11-087 Provence Hanging Wooden Beaded Door Curtain Screen, Green, 90 x 180 cm

This was a lucky dip purchase. Mum's bead curtain had died the death and she needed a replacement, pronto. I purchased this one, thinking that it would 'do' until I had time to shop around for something decent. Well, as it turned out, this is a really beautiful, quality bead curtain. Mum is thrilled to pieces with it. It hangs nicely and is an absolute bargain for the price.

We had some difficulty deciphering the sizes when we eventually found some, so we took a punt and went for it. The aesthetics are quite nice, but practically it does not do the job. For our conservatory door, which must be pretty typical, it was about 300 mm too short and the same too wide. Because we quite like the design we are currently re-stringing the whole thing by removing three strands each side and using the beads to extend the length. However, it may still die the death eventually because with the first bit of nice weather we had to test it a number of bugs quite happily found their way through, including two queen wasps, due to the quite wide gap between the strings. Service and delivery etc, great.

I like the look and it is well put together. However, the wood is very hard and it cracks too easily when screwing in the hooks supplied.It could do with being 200 drop, which is more standard height for doors.All in all, it is well made and useful.

Fitted fine no problems

The curtain is approximately 12” to short and the gaps between each strand is to wide. Doesn’t really serve the purpose purchased for.

Bought 2 of these for my mum's conservatory and lounge door made lovely look really good helps keep the flies out could be longer as the flies do get under neath sometimes need to be length of standard doors really great value

Quality of this product is poor. There are big gaps in-between each string of beads which means it's intended use for more privacy and a fly screen are made irrelevant.

this product is pretty good. I have it on my porch, and at summer no bugs got in.Im writing this as Ive had the product for a year or so. Im statisfied, still hangs on my porch door.the package was very compact, and no damage to the curtain.

Ce produit n’est pas conforme. Il ne protège pas contre les mouches. Les espaces entre chaque élément font 3 cm !Je decide de retourner cet article.Cordialement

Pas du tout comme sur la foto ! Très espacés perle toute fine!! Arnaque!

Le rideau reçu ne correspond absolument pas à la photo. Il manque 40 cm de hauteur, et l'espacement entre chaque lanière est de plus de 3 cm "bienvenue mouches et moustiques"... Je suis en attente de retour, mais quid des frais d'envoi ?
