Was very unpleasantly surprised that the product arrived unsealed - nothing, no security foil on the opening, not arrived in a wrapped box - just came in a small plastic bottle with a screw top. How do one know if the product was real, worse still, tampered with? Was going to return it but the system says it's an unreturnable item, I am going to throw it out. Very unhappy, waste of money.My advice is don't buy.

I've been using emu oil for years, most effectively, but after receiving some very runny stuff from my usually consistent supplier, I decided to give The Oil Well my custom.Firstly, the bottle is dark brown, so not as illustrated, which is disconcerting as it made me wonder if the wrong label had ben affixed to the bottle.However, happily it is not the castor oil .Also It is awkward to get out of the bottle when it is full so I dread to think how I will get anything out when the bottle is nearly empty.Not to worry though as the use by date is only three and a half months away ( ! ) so I'll only be half way down it by it's chucking out time.Works out too expensive for me.Disappointing.

Its just ok. Got it because I had just used up a small, but expensive pot of hand cream all they way from New Zealand. One of the best I have had, and it contained emu oil. I took a chance and thought 100% emu oil would be as good, but no. I now appreciate that the other ingredients are needed. Don't get me wrong, its okay. Just use a little to let it sink in, but then it does not do much. And, I really need to look into the ethics of it all, as in the oil actually comes from an emu. Ok if they were to die anyway, as in I pretend to myself that my leather shoes are from cows that were used for meat. Ok, maybe I'm fibbing to myself. But killing a bird for cosmetic purposes is wrong to me. Should have thought this before I bought it I hear you say. But look into it yourself if bothered; I'm not sure.
