Is this any good for removing tree sap?

Bought this to remove tree sap....it wasn't any good. Fine for insects. Still looking for tree sap remover suitable for removing the heavy pine tree deposits.

Would it work for bird droppings

I am trying to find something to remove purple tar like droppings from pigeons that have feasted on berries - it is impossible to get off!! I have not yet tried this product, but I can assure you that Auto Glym Tar remover does NOT work. It is great on tar but ineffective on hard, black bird poo.
