Brett brings us a tool box of a story, filled with incredible insight and knowledge. This book is a must have tool box for all educators that brings the past to the present and future.It’s so practical and useful from page one! Brett’s wealth of experience and pedagogical knowledge is such a gift!

Even though I’m not an educator I enjoyed this book immensely. Salakas has produced a unique work that combines personal revelation, historical anecdote, practical classroom tips and a survey of the Ed-tech landscape and some of the key concepts in teaching. There is even a couple of poems in the mix. Hard to believe this is the author’s first book, pretty sure it won’t be his last.

In our ever changing landscape of education, this book provides ideas and strategies to contiue to grow and infuse excitement into learning.

A Mammoth Lesson provides ready made resources and tools for the classroom for all levels of educators. Brett has created an easy to follow story that I encourage all educators around the world to read. The SPEARS acronym is one that I am working hard each day to implement into my life and classroom.

What I like most about this book and about Brett is that he speaks in a way that all teachers can understand. No weird jargon and no expectation that all teachers should know all of what he speaks about. The aim is to help teachers and highlight the possibilities edtech brings to education. Great book.
