The Koala Who Could

Like all of the the Rachel Bright and Jim Field books, The Koala who Could is a delightful children's book, combining gorgeous story telling with with beautifil story telling. Kevin the Koala doesn't like to come down from his tree and constantly shuns invites from his animal friends, until one day he's forced to come down and realises that life is better when you say yes to things. Adults will enjoy the story and and the positive messaging - Bright has a knack for delivering important ideals - whilst creating lovable animal characters that children will relate to.Children will love the rhyming story telling and will enjoy picking out the details in Field's illustrations. A truly beautiful book.

Hard book so it will last well and can be looked at without supervision. Lovely illustrations. The Koala is nervous about leaving his tree but when he is forced to be realises what fun he has been missing. Good for opening discussions with children who are nervous about new experiences.

We love this book, the rhyming is great and the story is super cute. My daughter really worries about change so we talk through the change and compare it to Koala who wouldn't get out of his tree. Very sweet!

Super story, child friendly discussing worries, fear of change and feeling scared. Good condition and arrived quickly.

Bought this to go with a koala puppet, lovely little story about a koala who couldn’t and learnt to be brave. Great for teaching kids it’s okay to try new things!

Great story and some good imagery inside the book to keep kids entertained whilst reading.

This is a lovely book bought it for my grandson for Easter.!
