Daforto Stevia Gold, 10g

After hearing about the benefits of stevia online I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I was unsure about pricing because I saw what was essentially 10g of something that costs round £12. After it arrived I was very annoyed because 10g is even smaller looking that you think. I thought "fantastic here's something that will last about 2 days". I put it in my coffee and tea and I REALLY liked the taste of it. After spending a while working out exactly how much to put in (it is 480 times sweeter than sugar the balance can be sensitive) and getting the balance right I've actually grown to love it more than sugar. I don't get the weird high/lo crashs of sugar and the flavor of it enhances everything from tea/coffee/herbal teas. I actually rarely take these hot drinks without stevia.Another surprise was how long it lasted. I had one tub over 8 weeks and was still roughly about half full (it got lost after that) and I guessed it could last about 4 months with the way I used it (minimum 3 times a day). And although you're really unlikely to spend £12 on sugar in 4 months. The difference is that this is actually healthy for you. The benefits that are known are that it is ZERO calories and also has zero effect on blood sugar (unlike other sweeteners that have zero calories but spike blood sugar) Also like I said earlier its a great sweetener for green teas that dieters often find hard to drink due to flavor or whatever. So making people drink those alone would aid extra fat loss (also great to add a little more flavor to green smoothies)So basically buy it if you want to try itP.S. Just an update on this order. I am just about to run out of Stevia either today or tomorrow (it's 24/03/2013 people from the future) and I bought my this current tub on 21st December 2012. That's four months with regular everyday use.

Unusable. Just so bitter. Maybe it's me but I can't stand this. Fast delivery and good service though.

The item arrived today. I tired it right away.It is quite sweet, which is good, but it does taste quite bitter too. Given the price, I'd expect less bitterness (I've used another brand previously which was also very sweet but with bitterness that was virtually unnoticeable [to me, anyway]).I will be trying a different brand next time until I find a brand that comes closer to the prime stevia I used to be able to buy.

This is one of the best Stevia products I found. I use it at work, where I drink over 5 mugs of tea per day, five days a week and I bought it in August 2012, and the package is just finishing so I am looking to buy another one now.It's a bit tricky to dose, but after I got a Microspoon (available on Amazon) it's size is perfect for me and works out: 1 microspoon of Stevia Gold = 1 teaspoon of Sugar.I can completely recommend Daforto Stevia Gold.

The best I’ve tried to date; superior taste, no bitter aftertaste, ticks all boxes and definitely deserves to be a repeat order!

Love this stuff! Use it in everything! Eg. Smoothies, homemade orsnge lemon n lime juice. Homemade ketchup n loads of other recipes! A little goes a long way!

Very small tub for the money. Ideally needs 'padding out' with something else to make it go further. I found it bitter but apparently some people do and some don't.
