Saltneys Salt Alternative 100g

It's really great to be taking salt again after years of health based abstention.I've been using this for two months now and have to say that I'm amazed at how "real" it is.My initial test was in trying it as a saline in pickled onion making. That has worked well and my first batch are crisp & delicious.Now it sits on the kitchen work top and is in daily use for all those meals & snacks that have been missing the edge that salt provides.I heartily recommend this product.

I hardly notice the difference, and it's great because my blood pressure does not increase when I use this salt alternative. And it makes my food taste great. you don't get lot for your money tho...

I got it for my husband who had been told by doctor that he cannot have sodium in his food due to medical reasons. It does taste some what like salt if you are ready for a compromise. It burns your tongue after 3-4 days use. He hated is as it also caused stomach ache.

Initial taste is ok but the after taste is pretty fowl and it stays. I've only had it on chips so far so may get away with using it in cooking, will have to see. Quite disappointed

I bought this as a replacement for table salt to reduce my sodium intake. As well as reducing sodium in the diet potassium appears to counter affects of hidden sodium in the diet.The salt tastes slightly different to table salt if you taste it on it's own but you don't notice the difference when adding a small amount to food.

Even just a tiny tiny bit adds a disgusting taste to food.It is somewhat similar to a salty taste, but not really.I think better to just allow yourself to get used to the taste of food that isn't salted.
