I made use of the Amazon Try Before You Buy service to try on a couple of different sizes, and would agree with the other reviewers - I'd size up, especially if you intend to wear anything other than leggings underneath.The fit:I am 5'11" and a fairly standard size 12, but the size 14 fit me far better, and joy of joys the long length is actually long enough for me which is something of a rarity.The style:The waist band has a drawstring which is a nice touch and means that you can size up and cinch in the waist if needs be. The trousers open up at the sides which allows you to put them on without taking your boots off, which is very convenient when hiking.Overall:I'm delighted that I bought these, and I'm genuinely looking forward to my next bad weather hike. I suspect these will be a game-changer for me. Just one thing that I feel I should mention - it wasn't initially obvious to me which way round to wear the trousers because of the lack of label "at the back". They feel very odd if, like me, you try them on the wrong way round!

Good fit, waterproof and quality is good. The zips and studs at the sides of the leggings allow for greater ease in putting on and removing the trousers and they will easily go over boots/wellingtons without having to take them off.

These are my 2nd pair and I had my first pair for 4 years. They were worn when it was raining for dog walking, horse riding and mucking out etc. The articulated knees make them very comfortable and easy to wear and the side zips and poppers make getting them on and off over boots easy. The waistband toggle allows the waistband to be adjusted. I would definitely recommend these but I would say go for a size larger than you normally take. I am a size 12 and although the size 12 fit they were slightly on the tight side but not uncomfortable. My second pair are a size 14 and fit perfectly with the added addition of being able to tighten the waistband if needed.

Love these. They are lined and legs unzip to the top make putting on easier. Flattering fit an comfortable.

I’m yet to use the trousers but trust the brand. Do check the sizing though, I’m a size 12 and from seeing other reviews only then did I decide to check the measurements, knowing I’d want them to be big to wear over clothes as well. I decided to take the risk of getting size 16 and they are perfect! Have elastic waist so not too baggy and still quite a skinny fit compared to other waterproof trousers I’ve had in past. Good quality. From searching around, definitely best trousers I’ve seen for decent price too.

Only worn once since purchase, but it really was in a deluge of extreme proportions and legs were dry even if socks soaked from puddles. Easy to get on and off due to generous side openings.

Does the job warm and comfortable smaller fit go up a size

I don't usually bother leaving a review but had to review these trousers. I wear them to walk the dog when it's raining and they keep my legs bone dry. They are breathable which makes them very comfortable and don't make me too hot. Highly recommended
