Pyrex Oval Pie Dish, 0.75L

The dish is exactly what I wanted, perfect size for home made pastry topped steak pies. I’ve also used it for rice pudding.

I do not make pies. So why the pie dish?It has a variety of uses, mainly, for me, storing cooked food in the oven, keeping it warm until the next items are ready to be served with it. It can be used for pretty much anything you want as it is robust and sturdy and oh so easy to clean.Size wise, most folks can press their whole hand into the base of the dish and it is around 2 inches high.

Nothing like the old-fashioned cooking equipment. Just right size for two people. The reason I bought it is that it has a rim to make pies and to shape pastry.

What can I say it's a Pyrex they're always good enough for me and this ones the same 👍.

Once you've said its pyrex, you know its quality, good to cook with and easy to clean, especially if you give it a brief soak.

I love using Pyrex, always consistent quality and this dish is no different. The glass is smooth with no imperfections or sharp edges. Some reviews say it is a good size for two people, but as a hungry 12 stone guy I can eat the whole pie on my own. Now need a piping bag to perfect my fish pie. Definitely recommended.

Ansonsten 5 Sterne. Vom Bild kann man sich schnell vertun und wenn man die Maße nicht nachmißt leider auch. Ansonsten alles top. Der Abzug gilt eigentlich meiner Dummheit
