Good value extractor fan.
No nonsense extractor fan that works efficiently and very quietly. Easy to install and looks smart enough.

Fan works well but is not silent on fast setting, but it is quieter than most. Looks are ok.
Works well looks ok and is reasonably quiteThe large ballast resistor that will get hot, which is a waste of power and does not fit well on the pcb well the pcb holes for the resistor should be the correct pitch and ceramic spacer to support the resistor spacing it away from contact with the pcb should have been used, sloppy engineering. The cover clip looks like it will be difficult when I need to remove it for cleaning dust accumulation on the fan. Also as the release clip needs to be accessible from the side, this reduces fitting positions making it difficult to align the cable hole with the existing power cord. No doubt when the unit fails that large I’ll fitted resistor will be the reason, before the fan bearing will give out. Which should not be before 10 years of use.

Xpelair DX100BTS Simply Silent Bathroom Extractor Fan with Timer, Adjustable Twin Speed
direct replacement for existing fan which has succumbed to wear and tear after a fair bit of use, it was still very functional but not as quiet as when originally installed a few years ago. I'd removed and thoroughly cleaned the original one several times and will do the same with this replacement, it only takes a maximum of an hour, it's not difficult and well worth the effort in my opinion as they do become gummed up with the inevitable grime (damp dust within a bathroom environment).

Decent extractor fan for the money
The instructions are quite vague regarding installation, but if you're replacing an existing unit you'll be able to work it out. I left it on the default slow fan speed and its pretty quiet in operation. The over-run timer can be adjusted between 30 seconds and 30 minutes, and it is simple to adjust by turning a tiny plastic dial using a terminal screwdriver, however as the extremes of adjustment are only about a half turn of the dial it is quite imprecise and requires a bit of trial and error to set to the prefered time. Overall, well worth the money I paid for it I believe,

Xpelair - an efficient extractor fan.
This product is a quality Xpelair fan unit, no problem fitting into existing 4 inch pipe and it is efficient. Cannot give 5 stars. The fan has two speeds but to select fast or slow the unit has to be removed from the wall and a selector pin repositioned. This should only be done by an electrically competent person. It would be more convenient if the speed could be selected by a switch fixed on the side of the unit.

Good fans
Just replaced one fan in the downstairs cloakroom and this is set to low speed. It does a great job and is reasonably quiet. Had a new fan installed in an upstairs shower room which is set to high speed. It is louder but very effective at keeping the steam at bay. Highly recommended for the price.

Very quiet fan but timer not working
Prompt delivery and the installation was straightforward. Another plus is that the fan is extremely quiet. Unfortunately the extractor fan did not run after the light switch was turned off. I did take care to ensure that the wiring was correct so it was definitely a faulty product which has now been returned. A further minus is that there is no back draught prevention feature which means that (in my case, at least) there is a cold draft back into the bathroom.
