This bed was everything I needed for my aging pup with a recent TPLO surgery. **Don't be alarmed if it takes them a few days/weeks to adjust to this bed!** I was worried at first, but now she doesn't even want up on my bed anymore. It is so easy to keep clean and retains it's shape. This is a great investment for any dog at any age, I wish I had done this years ago. =)

I was hesitant to spend so much on a dog bed, but I wanted something special for my now 16 year old AmStaff/Chow mix. I compared the ten year cost of this bed vs several cheaper beds I would cycle through. Over that period the big barker was the clear winner with its warranty. I am glad to have it. My pup loves it, as do the other dogs AND even our kitties. I got the liner, and keep a blanket on top to help with longevity. The cover could be a little thicker, and handles would be helpful. I end up moving it around a lot from nighttime sleeping areas to daytime lounging, and it’s a bit awkward to carry without handles. Wish I could place them all over the house. I’d there was a handle I would give it 5/5 stars. Never seen a better dog bed. Took my pup a few weeks to settle into it but once she did there was no turning back. Just used it as a base for my 10 year old male 65 lb AmStaff during his recovery from TTA surgery. Couldn’t have found a better bed for the purpose.
