Hair straightening brush
I was excited to receive this product as it claimed to correct problems with static electricity which I'd been experiencing for some time. I was delighted that it straightened my hair making it look sleek and shiny, however the static problems returned relatively quickly after using it. There was an improvement but not as much as I'd originally hoped or expected. I found the brush was very easy to use apart from the temperature going up and down as my fingers accidentally touched the plus and minus buttons. I am now more careful where my hand holds the handle now and this problem has been reduced. I just wish it had completely corrected my hair problem and I would be rating it as five star.

The Best Hair Straightener That I Have Seen. The Anion Mist Spray Really Does Reduce Frizz And Static.
I am writing this review for the BearMoo Hair Straightener Brush, along with my wife, since she is the main user of this product. However, I have found an unexpected use for this brush with my much shorter hair, which I will explain later in the review.Upon opening the box, my first reaction was the quality of the construction of the brush (of course that would be my first interest, my wife said, since I am an engineer!). The materials were all of excellent quality. The brush has a sturdy feel, and I am confident it would easily survive drops onto the floor from bathroom counter, although my wife would not let me test this, since she really likes the brush! The brush has a black MCH (alumina ceramic heater) base plate with 79 protruding metal columns, or prongs, from the plate. These are the surfaces that are heated up to 450 degrees F (230 C). Each prong has a black heat resistant plastic shield that runs over the side and tip of each prong, to protect the scalp from being burned on the heated metal prongs. This entire heated brush portion is surrounded by flexible plastic prongs to prevent accidental contact with the metal protrusions. Although very well protected against finger contact, I would not leave the heated brush where a small child with very small fingers might be able to touch one of the metal brush prongs, which might result in a finger burn.I was amazed that the brush heats up so quickly. It will heat to a temperature of 360 degrees F in about 20 seconds, and up to the maximum 450 degrees F in about 35 seconds. This is at least twice as fast as other hair staighteners that I have seen. This is because of the MCH heater used in this brush.I particularly liked that the power cord that enters the brush is swivel mounted, so that the cord rotates in the brush as the brush is turned. This prevents "wrap-up" of the power cord, so that you do not need to unplug the power cord periodically to untangle it (as our hair dryer always needs to be).We both liked that the brush is very easy to use When first plugged in, the red LED display flashes "OFF". The brush is then turned on by a momentary press of the ON/OFF button. This causes the red LED display to flash for several seconds, showing the set point temperature which the brush is set for. After several seconds, the display will stop flashing the set point temperature, and display the actual brush temperature, as it moves toward the set point temperature. The brush "remembers" your previous set point temperature last used, before turning off the brush. This is the new set point temperature when you first turn on the brush. This is nice if you usually use the same temperature each time. The brush is turned off by pressing the ON/OFF button for about 2 seconds, at which point the red LED display will flash "OFF" again. As a safety feature, the brush will automatically turn off after 60 minutes, if no button is pushed. The brush displays temperature in degrees F by default. If degrees C is desired, press the "+" button and the "-" buttons for several seconds, and the temperatures will be shown in degrees C. Press both buttons again for several seconds to change back to degrees F.The brush temperature is adjustable from 170 degrees F to 450 degrees F, in 20 degree F increments. If the Celsius scale is used, the temperature is adjustable from 80 degrees C to 230 degrees C, in 10 degree C increments. So, how does the brush work? Very well! My wife has used other hair straighteners in the past, and remarked that this brush takes far less time than a flat iron straightener. Since she has soft fine hair, she used the recommended 290 to 330 degree F temperature, which worked very well for her. Her hair is very fine and frizzes easily upon drying. The manual recommends 350 to 390 degrees F for medium volume hair, and 410 to 450 degrees F for thick or dense hair. She said possibly her favorite feature of the brush (along with the straightening) is that it eliminated the frizz. She was not expecting that, since she had not experienced that with other hair straightener brushes. I believe that this is due to the fine negative ion mist, which is released from the 2 holes in the 2 ridges, located at the base of the brush prongs. This "mist" of ions greatly reduces hair frizz and static, which is caused by the buildup of an electrical charge on the hair from drying and straightening. This ion spray neutralizes the electrical charge of the hair, and allows it to stay straight and smooth, and stop your hairs from repelling each other. My hair is short (compared to my wife's hair), and I normally blow dry and comb or brush my hair, straight across with a part on the left side. Since my hair is somewhat wavy, I never like the way the front looks on the right side of my hair, near my forehead. It always comes down onto my forehead. I tried using this brush to brush straight across near the front of my hair. I used the default temperature of 350 degrees F, and with only one or two swipes, was surprised to see that it straightened my curly-cue, and my hair did not fall down on my forehead! I will definitely be doing this from time to time.Judging by the quality of construction, I believe this BearMoo Hair Straightener Brush should provide years of simple, trouble-free operation. The manual is brief, but does cover all of the functions of the brush. But, since operation of the brush is very simple, this is all that is needed. Also included is a nice carrying pouch with a draw strap.Although I received this BearMoo Hair Straightener Brush in exchange for a fair and honest evaluation, I feel that I have done an honest evaluation of the product. I did not receive any money or anything else for the evaluation.

Brill purchase!!!
I received this earlier in the week, a few days after ordering, followed by welcome email with instructions from BareMoo. The packaging is very nice, include with the brush is a storage pouch and instructions. I was worried there was no heat protection glove, but knew I could us the one I have, that came with another styling tool. So far not felt the need to use it.I have fine, full head of blonde highlights (naturally brown), loose curl, just below shoulders hair.I find the product well made and pretty straight forward to use, It is quick to reach your desired temperature, a great range of temperatures, to cater for all hair types, also a clear LCD screen. I have caught temperature buttons a few times, when using and it has adjusted the temperature, will try the 5 second rule another reviewer mentioned on next use, to see if selected temperature does lock in.I actually use a pre shampoo, premium conditioning treatment at least once a week. Then after using premium shampoo and conditioner, I apply a premium products to my hair before drying, consisting of a thickening lotion, hair strand saving mousse and a heat protection spray, I then let it air dry for about an hour to hour and a half, finish drying and style with a well know air drying and styling rotating brush on low heat, followed by a quick run (in large sections) through with a premium straightening irons at 195 degrees C. I know it says not to use hair products, but I have not found it to be an issue when using the brush, maybe because I use it the next day rather than just after washing my hair.I have then used the BareMoo brush the following morning at 180 degrees C, to freshen style and remove sleep kinks, this is so quick and easy, previously would have used rotating dryer brush again. I find the BareMoo brush gives me a better finished result and is having a better effect on the static hair I seem to have acquired in the last few months! Hoping it's the weather causing it. It leaves my style with more body and not poker straight, just a nicer, more natural looking style, especially as it is shaped like a paddle brush, therefore giving a more uniform result than a oval brush would.Very happy with it and at such a good price £29.99, had looked at purchasing heated straightening brush from same manufacturer as air drying and styling rotating brush. However, after reading the reviews on Amazon and a well known shopping channel, which also had it on easy pay, I decided the average reviews of results, did not make it a worthwhile purchase, especially at the price point it is sold at. This cost over 50% less and has better reviews.Overall brilliant results and at such a good saving by buying on Amazon, having said that, I have not found anywhere else that sells this, so do not know if recommended retail price is usually £99.99, as show on Amazon website. The only thing I would like to know, is what is the recommended way to clean the brush head.

This product arrived in a timely manner. I hadn't used one of the products before - I had been used to using a famous brand of hair straighteners, but thought I'd give this a go. The product itself is quite effective, the reason I have only given it 3 stars is that the instructions state that you can't use mousse on your hair before using the product. My hair is so fine that I need to use mousse after every wash. I have tried using the product using thickening spray instead of mousse, but for me it's not the same. I wouldn't have bought the product if I'd known this information beforehand. However, this information might have been detailed in the description (if it was it wasn't prominent enough), but to be honest, I'd revicted so many products I can't remember now.
