Yukon Scope 6-100x100 Spotting Scope

This scope is quite well made. It achieves some serious magnifications and the optics, on the face of it, are reasonable with relatively little chromatic aberration. The problem with this unit is the focusing which feels a bit crude and does not have any fine tuning. On low magnifications then the optics automatically revert to the small objective lens. Why? For higher mags the large lens is selected which is fine except that on both lenses there is insufficient adjustment of the focuser. What this, in effect, means is that an object has to a long way away before it can be focused on. This is fine for astronomy or for looking at something at great distance. Where you come a cropper is when you want to make a highly magnified image of something fairly close like a bird on a garden bird table 5 metres away. Shame. Not bad, but could easily have been a lot better. Item returned.

Very easy to use with tripod. Superb quality pictures. Even looking at shipping 3miles out definition in my opinion was amazing. Highest magnifications more difficult but much easier with camera attached. Would highly recommend.

Great scope! It is light weight making it easy to carry especially for its size. The large size gives greater stability and makes it very easy to focus. This scope is very versatile making it great for plenty of applications. The images created by this thing are amazing. It brings you so close that you feel you could reach out and touch what you are viewing.

im using this scope to view very long ranges, and its perfect ,the zoom is brilliant, i can read signs well over 2 miles away with this yukon.
