JETech Case for iPad Air 1st Gen, Black

I bought this as a replacement for a worn out expensive STM case, I was worried I would be disappointed at anything less, but I didn’t want to spend a lot this time (as it’s an old ipad and I use it mainly for catching up on videos and amazon prime videos). I needed something to protect my ipad and also be able to easily stand up side ways. I feel this is good value for the price as it fits well, sleep mode works and it stands up well. I don’t think it will protect my ipad if I drop it, but that’s not really a worry for me - hopefully that won’t happen! - it wasn’t my main criteria. Overall very happy it does everything I need and is good value. However, if you’re accident prone or need something that will cushion a drop, I don’t think this will provide much protection.

Apple boast that the iPad Air is very slim and light weight, and it is. This JETech case is slim, has a lovely soft feel, but is well made and robust. It's very discreet and makes the iPad only very slightly larger. (Many people buy the iPad Air, and then go out and buy a very protective case that increases the thickness to 4 or 5 times the size, making the entire thing very cumbersome. If you buy a thick case, you destroy the advantage of a slim tablet.) This JETech case is perfect, and has the added advantage that the lid puts the iPad to sleep when it's closed, and wakes it up again when you open it. This is possibly the best iPad case on the market, and at a fraction of the cost of most of the competition. If you want a case for your iPad, this is the one to buy.

Not in the same league quality wise as the official Apple full cover case (however, unless rooting around on eBay it's pretty unlikely you'll find one as the model is pretty old now). Overall the aforementioned are simply tiny niggles. The JETech case is perfectly sound. Very snug fit, sleep mode is a little finiky (there's been a couple of occasions where it didn't send the iPad to sleep and the next time I went to use it the battery was drained. doesn't escape me that this could also be combining with my own user settings so it could as much my fault as the cases I just haven't bothered to look because 98 times out of 100 sleep mode works fine when you close the case on the screen. I fully recommend this case despite its small flaws and or niggles. It isn't as good as Apples own version but it's also in its own right a perfectly sound case. Biggest plus is that it is way cheaper than the official version and that by itself makes it a great buy.

Before I ordered the case, I was a bit worried about the quality of the product given that I got it for 7.99 GBP. When I got it, however, I was amazed by its quality. The materials are great. The color is exactly as it is on the picture. The case feels very sturdy in the hand, has a nice coating and sits firmly in your hand; it has a great grip. The cover is flexible and not flimsy at all. It is fully functional, and when folded to be used as a deck, it is very stable. The case grips perfectly around my iPad Air - when you set it in, it clicks. One thing to have in mind is that it surrounds both sides of the tablet and protects their edges completely; however, the top and bottom side are fully covered only up to the corners.- i.e. the middle parts of the bottom and top edges are not covered. This product is a great buy. And its a steal, given how ridiculously overpriced the Apple-designed cases are.

Bought this for my daughter to replace the genuine leather apple case that was looking tatty and had become loose fitting, so the iPad could easy fall out. To be fair the leather apple case had saved the ipad from damage during the two or so years of use, but it has suffered. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the approx £60 apple case and decided to get this.....and I am glad I did. It is a good fitting case, it looks good and the price is good. The one thing I will say that is different to the apple case is there is less protection at the bottom where the speakers are. My daughter says the volume seems slightly louder, but I would say the trade off is that there is a little less scratch protection, be it only minimal. Over all...it is a good product and we are happy with it.

I bought this because my old Apple cover was falling to bits. I quite like the fact that it covers the back of the iPad as well: the cutouts are all in just the right places and large enough that the buttons are still nicely accessible. The iPad clips securely into the back and the whole thing seems well enough made. Only had it a few days so can't comment on durability, but to be honest since it costs so much less than a branded Apple cover I wouldn't be too bothered if it didn't last as long! Having said that, as mentioned above it does feel like it's well made so I don't anticipate any problems on that score. All in all, pleased with the purchase and would buy again.

This is a great quality case for the iPad air. It fits perfectly and the iPad just snaps easily into it and is so secure that it doesn't move around or feel like its going to come out. The case is hard and plasticy, what I'd expect the official Apple one to be like. It fits nicely and doesn't make the iPad bulky or anything. The back is covered but the camera, buttons etc. are all still accessible. The cover flips back so you can stand the iPad up which is great. It also has the 'lock' feature so that the ipad locks when you close the cover and the screen comes on when you open it. I am so glad I bought this rather than paying double or triple the price for one just as good!

This product fits perfect for the iPad air . It's exactly the same case as the iPad original case just without the Apple logo it's that good . You can longer get this case you see but for those who still have the original air an like the magnetic close and one that opens the pad when you open the case it is annoying because over time the original case deteriorated . I have purchased several from these little mobile gadget shops but quality has always been poor and black stuff often came off the band's. Until now I found this product . This product JETech case that your looking at now from Amazon is just as good as the the original Apple ones back when they was selling them . It fits perfect , the material is not at all cheap or bendy . The front is magnetic and the back has a part that is able to make the pad stand up so you can keep your hands free . Brilliant product .

Very sturdy case! Seems built to last! Very pleased!😀

I checked the number to make sure and it still did not fit A1475. The case itself is too shallow, iPad kept slipping out which is dangerous and could lead to it breaking. Material doesn't seem sturdy, almost like it's made of cork board material. Wouldn't recommend for A1475.

使いやすいし、コスパ良い買い物ができまして大変満足しています。

Extremely good value for money.

Exactly as advertised. Fits perfectly and protects the iPad screen
