FMMPeony Cutter

The cutter worked very nicely and I was very happy with my finished product. My only complaint would be that the cut was not perfectly neat and needed a bit of cleaning up (the cutter could be a bit sharper), but it really is a minor inconvenience. I was also able to trim the ends off the petals to make a rose. Would recommend for hobby cake decorating, but would prefer a sharper one for work.

Made my first attempt at peonies and found it very easy to use. Will be making more and sure they will improve with practise but here is photo of my first attempt.

Photos are a first attempt which I’m sure would improve with practice but cutters are very easy to use - even for a novice like me. Very happy with my purchase.

Used them to make a number of sugar paste peony flowers which turned out extremely well. Like that it is sharp plastic which cuts through the paste efficiently and that the waved edging enables the peonies to look the real deal. Of course, the paste had to be applied to small plastic balls otherwise it would have meant a waste of paste and too heavy; consequently, these PM cutters enabled the large flowers to be made with ease.

FMM know what they're doing when it comes to cutters, they make them all. Nice quality cutters, they make perfect Peony petals. They're not very comfortable to use if you're needing to make a lot of petals (which you most likely are) but then I haven't found cutters that are. I only wish they came in a wee box that you could use to store them in, not the disposable packet that they are supplied in.

These peony petal cutters were fantastic. I'd never made one before and it turned out amazing thanks to these cutters.
