It worked and I was lucky to watch videos that were 27 years old, At first it looked likeit was snowing on the screen. but then i fast foward-ed the tape and went back and forth and then it worked after i cleaned the video. The tapes were very old but after cleaning I guess i was lucky.

Think its the recorder
Well I don't know if its the product or my recorder as when you insert a tape it switches the unit off
