We wanted to love these. The wood legs are beautiful, just as pictured. The problems started as soon as we installed. The material the screw on each leg is made of is SO weak. One stripped immediately when we twisted it in. I had to add washers and “make-do” with what we had. Within 3 days the whole couch was wobbling, squeaking, and cracking. We flipped it over, all 4 legs were now stripped. Had to go to hardware store and pick up more washers, metal plates, and nuts to secure the legs how they should have been secured originally. Including all necessary hardware for such weak screws would have given these legs 5 stars.

I bought a cheap faux leather couch on craigslist that had plain metal legs. Somehow in the process of moving the end cap came off one of them and I could never find a replacement. I took a chance on these since my living room is all mid century, and the result is fantastic! I was able to quickly and easily unscrew the old legs and replace them with these, and the pads at the ends mean it won't scratch my wood floors. It instantly looked much more expensive than a $150 craigslist couch!

I picked these for 2 reasons one they are 1" lower than my current sectional that i was trying to lower, second was color wanted something darker closer to a walnut color. From the listings pictures you would think they were close to walnut tone stain. But i would say these are a few shades lighter. I'm not thrilled with the color, but i may sand them and stain them darker.Can't say how sturdy they are but are pretty much the same as my current ones. I did not use the mounting hardware and can't speak to the longevity or how secure that would be i think for a lighter couch that mounting method might be ok but not sure about a heavier/large sofa with that mounting bracket.I added two pictures showing how my camera took the pic of the colors, the lighter one is more what you see in person and the darker one is just how my camera decided to choose the lighting.So i would say if your wanting this particular color you may want to look elsewhere, but if your wanting 6" high legs to replace or use and not particular about the color i would say for the price they are ok.

I have wanted to upgrade an IKEA Kallax unit for a while. I found these legs, and they are beautiful! They are solid and just lovely. They came with everything I needed to install them. I very much appreciated that, as I am not super handy. I can follow instructions, but I don't necessarily know how to do this stuff. I put together my Kallax unit and then just screwed the plates in by hand and got the bf to put the correct bit in the drill so I could make the holes for the legs. Easy peasy!The legs feel sturdy and look great! I highly recommend them to anyone needing furniture legs and especially to people like me who aren't super familiar with all this stuff...this kit makes it super simple to get a beautiful result!

Perfect replacement legs for an Ikea MACKAPÄR Bench. They look fantastic. One tip: if you use them on something other than a couch, like we did, they won't appear to be able to be installed at first. Our piece of furniture came with brackets that had the screws attached, and the legs also came with the screws attached (the legs also came with non-screw brackets but those were too big for our piece of furniture). We were able to put the screws in the legs in a vice grip and unscrew them from the legs, so that the legs could be screwed directly into our piece's brackets. It worked perfectly. They completely change the look of the piece, and these legs were much more reasonably priced than any others I found.

I have an IKEA Karlstad sofa and thought these legs looked great. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, the threading of the stock leg bolts is different than these new legs, so it is a not as easy as screwing the new part in. However, the couch has another opening/hole specifically for this occasion, so you'll need to use the included mounting hardware, which is far from sturdy... The mounting plate included with these legs only has a handful of threads for the legs to grab onto; this resulted in a very wobbly couch. I ended up using tee nuts to add extra threading inside the opening and lock washers to add ensure a tight fit. The end result was reasonable, but took a trip to Home Depot and some creative thinking.If you were to do this to a similar IKEA couch, the steps go something like this:1. Remove the old legs.2. Remove any plastic material obscuring the holes.3. Buy 5/16" - 18 x 3/8" tee nuts and hammer them into the opening (just down and to the right of the stock (threaded) hole show in the picture).4. Install the included mounting plate directly over the tee nut, taking care to align the threads.5. Add a washer and lock washer to the threads of the new legs to ensure a clean and tight fit.Hope someone finds this helpful!

Got a great deal on a short couch. Expensive set not sold as it was to low to ground. Light bulb goes on over my head and I offered a low offer which was accepted. Ordered these legs and perfection well almost. Quality item but wish I had measure first. Take a chair you are sitting in at right height subtract the height of the chair or couch that is to short and order the difference in inches. Wish I had ordered 5. Make sure as I did it is a sturdy piece of fur and will withstand the extra stress

Love these! Added them onto an Ikea dresser. Because of the shape of the dresser base I was only able to secure 2 of the screws on each of the metal mounts, but seems to hold up fine! Would reccomend.
