Lavilin Underarm Deodorant Cream

It takes time to get used to the product, but once you use it continuously, it helps a lot with the odor issue and in some situations with sweat.

I don't normally give 5 star reviews, but there's genuinely nothing I'd change about this product. I've just bought my second pot of cream, and the first one has lasted me 12 months. I followed the instructions and it worked great for me, lasting at least 7 days and often more. I quite like that it's not an antiperspirant, so I still sweat just without the smell.A few tips:- I use a small pea size of cream for each under arm, and you've got to make sure you do the whole area, otherwise the missed bit will start to smell sooner- Try not to shave (if you do) for a few days after application, otherwise it might remove some unabsorbed cream and not last as long- Putting the cream on last thing at night on soap-clean underarms gave me the best results and gave it more time to absorb so it was less visible (it might take a day to fully disappear)I don't know why more people don't use this, can't rate it high enough! It gets a bonus star because I don't have to wash my tops quite as often now too.

I am on my 3rd/4th pot of this product now so I guess that means I like it! I haven’t found anything else that has matched this to keep unwanted odour at bay.Sadly it has increased in price by quite a bit since my first purchase of it which is annoying but it does last a while. I use it twice a week.I have also tried the Lavilin 72hr roll-on version but it did not live up to this so sucked up the price rise.It doesn’t have much smell to it, pretty odourless to me which I like.You get a little applicator so you don’t get it under your nails trying to scoop out of the pot.It is a very thick substance so I tend to smear it on my armpits, lower my arms to warm it for 30 seconds before spreading it, as this makes it far easier to cover the whole area without using too much.

This item does not work the way it used to. I feel like the ingredients must have changed which makes it very expensive now

I didn't find this cream very effective. Despite following the directions conscientiously I was beginning to smell after a day. I have gone back to using my crystal deodorant which works brilliantly for me.

I've been wanting to try this for ages, chiefly out of morbid curiosity in the idea of a deodorant that supposedly lasts a whole week (why would anyone want or need this?!), and having previously used the Lavilin 72h (stick and roll-on) which are genuinely good and aluminium-free. The pot you get is very small (but a small dab goes a long way), and it comes with quite strict instructions on how to use it, which I haven't enacted to the letter because, frankly, I am not only going to re-apply deodorant only on a once-weekly basis. So why try it? Well, it does work (at least for 24hrs), and is a handy size suitable for travelling. I could imagine it being very useful for people who perspire a lot due to their activities (dancers, yoga teachers, people who can't immediately get to a shower after a class, etc.), people who are camping/at Glastonbury etc., or for those who need to exercise before their morning shower. We've been doing an early-morning astanga yoga class at home, and applied it the night before. It does make a noticeable difference to how whiffy we are afterwards. The cream seems gentle and non-clogging, and not 'waxy' (doesn't leave a coating) at all. It does seem to have slightly magical qualities.

I don't understand any bad review about it.I have been using this 10 years! I don't remember a single day of a bad smell underarm..It allows perspiration but prevents bacteria that cause bad smell.. simple as that

I'm actually suspicious of how well this works. I've been having excess sweat due to a disc prolapse so I thought I would try this to help with the smell. It was still going strong after three days without any re-application. Only removed to be able to shave. Didn't notice any residue left on my clothing though I only wore pj and tshirt material during this trial. Also a very little goes a long way, you can literally take about half a spoonful from the spoon that comes with it and that half will cover both pits thoroughly.
