Brilliant
Very easy to use and the colour is a lovely grey. No patchiness on the 3 coats I dyed. Well worth doing

Easy to use? - no, not really.
My first try with one of these pods was fine - second try hopeless - dye didn't all come out which resulted in streaks. Lost faith and this time simply emptied the dye into the machine first, just like the sachets and boxes of old. All perfect. So why these pods? Seems like change for the sake of it. Also seems like Dylon don't offer all the shades they used to, so you have to mix. Espresso Brown isn't a great rich dark brown, so added half a sachet of black. Successful, but a bit hit & miss, and a bit more plastic waste. So I've marked down the presentation although the pods are quite pretty.

Excellent
Used this to dye 100% cotton beige bedding to actual grey. It came out fantastic and I used all 3 pods.

Why did it not work?
I used this item on my curtains. Two pots, it looked like it was working. But as soon as the washing machine went onto rinse, it simply just washed the dye out. I went from excited to disappointed. Why did this happen?

Excellent coverage on curtains be sure to use the right quantity
I bought 3 packs to dye my Next curtains which had a massive bleach stain on one and was sun bleached on 2 sides. It worked amazingly well on the boucle part of the fabric - this is a mix of cotton, polyester and viscose. On the 100% polyester lining it didn’t dye at all but I was fine with that. The grey came out very uniform and the same shade on both curtains. Very happy and saved me money! I rinsed my curtains first so they were damp as the instructions say to use on damp fabric. Washed through twice.
