Perfect for the task it was bought for - replacing a bust double glazing unit.
Fitted my first replacement double glazing unit after one on our van burst. Buying the replacement and fitting it myself was much cheaper than paying the site to do the job.This tool was perfect for doing 2 things. Getting the trim/beading to unlatch, and to cut away the old sealant from the old window before fitting the new one. I then used it for a third purpose (knocking the beading back in to the new window), but would recommend a more suitable rubber mallet for this as I've left one or two small marks on the van where this jumped to the frame when knocking in the beading). Out of everything I bought, this was by far the best tool for the job. It's also very sturdy and I'm sure it will last a long time (a lifetime for me as I'll probably only every do two or three other windows with it :).Great value.

These are really good, for their intended use with window beads, or just as a strong, stiff bladed scraper/light prying tool.

Just what I’ve been looking for! Can’t believe I’ve been buying the Snap On version of these for £20 each!I needed something with a stiff blade. Had only ever found the Snap On ones with a blade stiff enough for what I needed. Until now.Opened delivery and immediately ordered a second.I don’t use them as a putty chisel. I fit car windscreens. I use them to release trims/mouldings, breaking locating pins on windscreens and for tidying up sealer.Will definitely be buying again.

Nice to use
Really nice bit of kit. Needed it to take out the framing of a PVC door to install and fit a new cat flap. Having been recommended by watching a YouTube video. Can take a bashing using a rubber mallet to extract the beading.It dose have other uses

Money Saver
Used this tool together with a rubber mallet to remove a pvc panel with doggy flap from door at old house and reinstall at new house after watching an instructional video online. Tool is well made, strong and has a great handle to grip. No damage to either door or beading. This saved us quite a bit of money as we didn't need to call a tradesman to do two jobs.
