2pcs Toilet Top Cover Lid Seat Fixings WC Blind Hole Fitting White Screws

Used to install a toilet seat with fixed (single position) hinges - no adjustment possible or needed. These worked perfectly. I used the bolts that were connected to the hinge instead of the ones supplied with these fixings and that worked well. The holes on the toilet pan measured up at around 18.5mm so I had confidence these would fit based in the description. However, they did spin a lot when I tried to install them. This was probably due to the fact that my “new” bolts were a tiny but different thread/size Which made them a little stiff. Easy fix was to half screw the fixings down before inserting them into the toilet. Then use a small screwdriver wedged into the bolt sideways to stop it spinning whilst screwing down. Took about five minutes to install the seat - Brilliant!Note: the “nuts” are connected to the main part of the fixing so this is a one piece unit. I don’t understand the other reviews which state the buts could drop off and be lost in a sealed unit - doesn’t seem possible? Anyway, cheap, simple and effective.

I ordered this for approx 18mm diameter fixing hole in a Vitra toilet. It fitted fine. I read all the tips to glue first and couldn’t understand until I got the product, and found theres a small metal nut and then it made sense. Despite that, I didn’t glue the nut in first (as recommended here) as I didn’t have any glue 😢, and luckily one nut sat very tight in the fitting anyway. I also fitted it after I attached everything to the external loo fixing first, and so I fitted it all as one piece, probably not good DIY but hey. As a result, I didn’t need to unscrew the long screw, and risk losing the nut; just tightened it up. It’ll be fine so long as I never need to change it again! But if you have the time, and the glue, that’s the professional way to go, for sure. Also the parts arrived in less than 24 hours on prime.

Not sent the version shown in the photos as I wanted the design with the stainless steel nut but was sent the version that screws into the nylon. The bolt was also 6mm rather than the 5mm shown in the photos. I’ve not been very successful in the past with metal screwing into plastic. However I did not have time to send them back so ended up using them - to be fair they screwed up really tight and successfully replaced the rubber compression type that were useless but I would have preferred to have received what was shown in the photos.

Perfect! Fitted for blind toilet, however I did glue in the nut only because the last set not these ones fell out into the base of the toilet and you can't get to it! So to be safe I glued them in! However once I fitted them into the toilet and screwed on the plate nice tight fit and toilet seat perfectly seated again! Saves another £30 odd instead of buying a whole new seat!

Took too long to deliver and every price was more than the article price

I tried several different fixings and previously none had worked. The problem was the thickness of the porcelain. These were slightly longer than others and worked perfectly first time. They we re very easy to use and felt tighter straight away!

El producto es perfecto para la reparación de la fijación de la taza del wc.Una vez tuve que desmontarla, se rompieron del tiempo esos tacos (los originales) y se me quedaba la taza suelta.Tras mucho buscar por los típicos centros de bricolaje, solo encontraba kits que prometían servir para fijar cualquier tapa de wc.Gracias a este producto, he podido reparar la fijación de la taza del wc con piezas como las originales, sin kits compatibles y ahorrando algún euro. No adjunto foto porque no hay mucho que ver del producto en sí, dado que son 2 simples tacos de nylon, pero cumplen su cometido para todo aquel al que se le deterioren y necesite sustituirlos.

Wir waren lange Zeit auf der Suche nach geeigneten Dübeln. Endlich gefunden! Passt hervorragend. Der WC-Sitz sitzt endlich fest.Enttäuscht waren wir von einem Design-Hersteller eines Hänge-WC 's. Es ist erforderlich geworden den WC-Sitz auszutauschen. Es passt aber nur der Original-WC-Sitz, aufgrund der Form des WC 's. Schön war, dass es den WC-Sitz noch zu kaufen gab (mit Verschraubungen). Aber ... in der Montageanleitung fehlte ein entsprechender Hinweis, dass das Gewinde aus der WC-Keramik nicht entfernt werden darf, weil dann die Mutter ins das Innere des WC 's fällt. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit die Mutter der Schraube wieder herauszuholen ... außer man demontiert das WC. Und endlich diese Dübel ... hervorragend!

Works as advertised. I purchased a different style from another manufacturer and it still left my seat loose. This one locks in tighter.

Compré los tornillos para montar un asiento con tapa en mi WC y ha ido genial. Los tornillos funcionan a la perfección y son fáciles de usar. Los recomiendo.
