Aukey DR02D Dash Cam
This dash cam was purchased with Aukey hardwire kit (PM-YY) with protection for parking mode and GPS.This is advertised as a stealth dash cam, so why do Chinese companies use grey 3M VHB sticky pads to stick the dash cam, PP-YY hardwire kit and GPS to the windscreen, why not use black 3M VHS sticky pads as most windscreens are tinted black and the top of the windscreen around the rear view mirror is shaded black to reduce the sun, so I had to purchase 3M VHB sticky pads off Amazon. Apeman use grey pads as well, why? When setting up the menu, the dash cam kept powering down and then it would power back up again, I would have to select menu and carry on setting it up, his happened quite a few times whilst carrying out this procedure. So I have returned the dash cam, hope the replacement will be ok.I asked Aukey if I could use the rear camera cable the other way round, straight mini usb to the front camera and angled mini usb to the rear camera and I was informed no! but it does work with no problems.I must say the picture quality from the front and rear camera’s is excellent in daylight, I haven’t tried it at nighttime. The menu is very well laid out and is more easy to access than the Apeman C860, but picture quality is just as good.Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.Update 9 August 2018:The replacement front camera has work perfect for the past 6 months with no problems and I'm still very happy with my purchase. The front and rear camera picture quality is very good and viewing it on my computer is quick and easy, the GPS information at the bottom of the picture is a nice addition. The Aukey GPS unit works a treat and picks up the GPS very quickly, but I did find it worked better on the glass at the top of the windscreen behind the sun visor and not on the etched black dots around the rear view mirror that reduces the sun light. I returned the PM-YY hardwire kit as it didn't work as I expected it to, but I notice that Amazon don't sell it now. I used one of the hardwire kits from Amazon and I wired it to a OBD2 plug purchased from Ebay, as the OBD2 socket on my Toyota Yaris 16 plate is under the dashboard near the drivers door, so it is easily accessed. Trying to find a permanent power supply on my car was very difficult, but using the OBD2 socket was very easy.Still very happy with my purchase and would recommend as nobody externally and sitting in the car has notice either camera.

Covert witness
After extensive searching I finally settled on this cam kit, well worth the search, very small cams both front and rear hide nicely behind mirror and rear centre brake light, picture quality is far better than I had expected even at night, although in certain areas like very dark lanes the rear cam is blind due to lack of light but front is very good as its lit by headlamps, both cams are good enough to read number plates but best viewed on a PC, the cam view angle is WIDE far wider than my previous cam, ok the monitor is very small but good enough to quickly view any incident, cam is very easy to set up with lots of options to choose from, I have mine hard wired via a battery monitor unit and set on standby when parked, there is not a park mode option but cameras still wake up when motion is sensed, would definitely buy again and I have recommended to friends and family, incidentally my insurance company has reduced my premium but I had to prove with written statements and photos that it was a permanent fit.

Great dual dash cams for the price
Like:>Very compact so don't take any space on your windshield> barely visible from outside the car>good Full HD quality>simple to use> cables are long enough for both cameras> if you buy the additional GPS module you will have information about location and speed your doing that will be handy incase something happened on the road> a relatively easy to install and wire both camerasDislike:> the sticker pad in the package is grey so it's not ideal if you want to hide the cameras but there are 2 extra plastic holders without sticky pads so I used them with a black ones>not the best quality during the night. I don't think you can read any number plates except you are a few metres behind the car in front

Excellent quality with loads of fittings to help install
Installed in my 2014 Q7 s-line. Wiring was tough to run but that was due to the high build quality of the Q7 & not the cables supplied. Rear camera fitted on the rear panel not on the rear screen, by the time the cable was run I only had 1 inch spare left (it's a long car). I added a 128gb micro sd & formatted via the camera. Worked a treat. Picture quality looks good (I did want the 4k version but it doesn't come in the 2 camera set up).

Good piece of kit, minor improvements should be considered and the card is key!
Had this 2 weeks now and everything is fine.2 points to note:1 - the rear view camera cable is a bugger to hide due to length and thickness but managed to get it tidy but the cable connection to the rear camera is vertical so when installed its a pain to have the camera lower than desired in the rear screen, a right angle connection would be better.2 - I had a problem with images recorded on a 32g Sandisk micro card even though it said it was good for video and dashcams. The images 'froze' while playback so I bought a 132g Sandisk from Tesco and its perfect.Otherwise, an unobtrusive kit that does the job, easy to set up and happy so far!

Working fine, a Jewson moment - does what it says.
Easy to fit, does the task, not too big, cable to rear camera is what you'd call 'sturdy', all are fine and easily concealed under trim edges. Also have the GPS unit extension, not found a way to turn the speed display off yet, the location lat/long and auto set of the time are done via GPS but perhaps a configurable speed above which the display is blanked would be good. The sticky patches are grey, so bought some black 3M for around a fiver, far less visible.Early days note the file sizes can be large, have got a 64Gb Toshiba mem card in.Do note this uses a super capacitor as power, so when car power feed stops so does the camera, so no parking mode capture - that's well noted throughout and fine by me, seems to be surviving UK temps around 30C this July, not sure a battery would.
