Excellent IP camera
An excellent wireless security camera, with very good features and accompanying apps. This is the 720p indoor version - offers great value for money for those that don't need the full 1080p resolution.Key features for me are:- Easy to set up - connect via ethernet initially (cable supplied), app finds the camera, configure the wifi settings either via the app or on the settings page by pointing your favourite web browser to the IP address identified in the app. That's it - up and running!- Motion detection: Highly configurable with multiple detection zones; individual zone sensitivity settings- Night vision: IR LEDs, IR Cut filter, individually configurable.- Wide angle lens - new hardware offers wider angle lens than the equivalent Ucam247 branded version of this camera I purchased a couple of years ago.- Record to SD: Supports high capacity micro-SD cards (not supplied)- Record to cloud: Supports the excellent Cammy service - essentially sends snapshots via FTP to your Cammy account - free cloud storage, 30 day buffer.- iOS and Android apps - Connect to live stream, access recorded events on SD card. Also support push notifications.Any Amazon customer familiar with the Ucam247 IP cameras will see that this is a familiar looking product. It is the same hardware, same software (only with different branding). Good to have more than one UK reseller for this excellent hardware as hopefully it will drive competition and lower prices.

High-quality, well-engineered product at a good price
This is a well-made and well-designed product with good supporting documentation. The camera itself is of high quality and the mounting bracket (often a weak after-thought on this kind of product) is also good. Setup is reasonably straightforward if you know the basic drill (use an ethernet cable initially + Web browser to access the setup page and enable WiFi). The camera software and accompanying app (I used iOS) are OK if rather clunky. There is an annoying lack of consistency between the two and it is often difficult to find your way around the UI to do what you want to do.But you *can* generally do everything and they provide good technical resources to help you through some of the fiddlier things. UPnP to allow access from the Internet is a good example of this and was explained very clearly including setting up DDNS.Important to understand that there is no server component to this camera. The camera stores video and snapshots (which you will probably have as alarm-triggerred rather than continuously) on an SD card (not supplied). You can use FTP to save remotely which I haven't done yet and seems old-fashioned. But there are kludges to make it work with OneDrive or Google Drive and I expect to set this up.The advantage of local storage is that you save expense of a subscription but if they nick the camera you've lost your evidence! Also, I've found external UPnP access to the camera (which requires port-mapping jiggery pokery on your router) to be slow and a bit flakey. And further hindered by aforementioned UI clunkiness. The camera itself works well. I have the 720p version and don't see any reason to regret it. The limitation will be light and clarity, not pixels in most situations. Low-light performance seems OK and the infra-red mode is quite impressive (it has its own IR lights). The motion detection works well although I'm still fiddling with sensitivity to stop a resident moth in my garage triggering it every night. In summary, a well-made and well-thought-through product with good technical resources to back it up. My only real complaint is that they should pay more attention to the UI of the software.

Second purchase. Great product.
This is my second purchase from this company. The first camera was so good I felt confident enough to purchase this one. And I'm certainly not disappointed. Easy to set up incredibly versatile. All in all it blows my mind how far technology has come. LolAs I said before in my last review of a similar product."This product far surpasses my expectations. I haven't had much experience with other companies which offer similar products however this one seems to fit my price range. It was so simple to set up and the apps downloaded on my iOS devices work perfectly. I don't know whether I'm being a bit naive to expect any more than what this product gives me, however I am unreservably happy with this camera. I would also like to comment on how helpful the support team are and how friendly they seem to be. Even going as far as to give me a complimentary call to enquire if this camera seems to be functioning properly. Thumbs up to this company. If you have any reservations on purchasing this item do not worry it is 100% sound as far as I'm concerned."
