I wouldn't try to use it in any kind of open-air setting -- even if it generated enough heat, you'd be feeding fuel in non-stop.

Most economical: Bring stove with you, Go to an automotive shop and purchase muffler pipe of sufficient length. (They can cut to length.)

Graham. Yes you could, but bear in mind the door also acts as an air source for the fire so you would have to drill a hole in the burner and make a damper flap for It.

Q: Has anybody had issues with carbon monoxide ?

Make sure you use in a well ventilated room! Otherwise it smokes terribly and you will risk carbon monoxide poisoning!
