Okay…. this thing works almost too well. It almost completely eliminates all litter box odors. You’d think I’d just be happy and leave it at that but my curious mind wants to know HOW it works, especially since the descriptions provided by the seller are non-existent. What I’m worried about is that it’s an IONIZER, which uses electricity to make the gaseous and dust particles heavier and sink to the floor. Problem with this is that IONIZERS CREATE OZONE which as far as I can see has negative health effects and is even potentially CANCER causing! Google it all yourself… If I find more data, I’ll update…. I really want this to be safe because it works amazingly.

I never leave reviews but with this one I figured I should also let others know that the ozone this device emits can be harmful to your pet, especially pets with shorter faces can be prone to respiratory infections related to it (Persians, Scottish folds etc.). I should have looked more into it before buying it. While I do think this device can work it just does not seem safe for my cats and I think others might also benefit from doing research into how exactly this device works.

The media could not be loaded.  My Duke is a very little cat but takes ginormous and smelly poops. We have a Dyson air purifier in his room, use Arm and Hammer Deodorizer and scoop is litter two times a day. However his poop smell still lingered around the room. We decided to see what other options and saw this little machine. We were pretty desperate at this point so we bought it even though it was a bit expensive. I don't know what magic this device works by the odors from his poop have decreased dramatically. It does a really good job eleminating most of the smells. You do have to charge it every 5-6 days but it's easy to do. It didn't get rid of the smell 100% but it did get enough of the smell to make a huge difference. I would fully recommend this product!

I use this in my Breeze XL litter system and it is amazing! I literally never smell anything at all! As you can see from the photo I do mix Naturally Fresh Walnut Shell pellets in with the Breeze pellets on the top layer and just Breeze pellets just below that (not in the pull out tray but above the grate). I use Fresh Step crystals over the pee pad in the pull out tray. With this device there has been zero dust and dust tracking and no noticeable odors! Three cats use one box! I do scoop the solids off of the top and dirty crystals off of the pad once a day. I see a few people saying that this device could be dangerous so I did my homework. The O3 put off by this device is WAY below fda and fcc max allowed for safety. Amazingly after a few days as the company states it’s still extremely effective in controlling odors. Since I am using a plant based mixture I also love the fact that it keeps mold from growing and kills any surprise tiny mites that can sometimes show up in plant based litters. (The liquids draining feature of this litter box also helps) I had a horrible experience with this when I used a corn based litter. This is a great bonus! If you’re still concerned about safety the little machine immediately cuts off as soon as a cat gets in the box. It has proven to be absolutely reliable! I was seriously considering getting another $500 plus automatic litter box despite throwing the last three out due to constantly having to take them apart and clean them and still scoop out waste just bc some now feature litter sanitation. This little machine has literally saved me hundreds of dollars bc now I don’t need an expensive box for that feature! I am thoroughly impressed with this little device and can not recommend it enough!

I’ll admit, it works great. Almost suspiciously so…and of course me being the person I am I couldn’t just leave it alone. I had to know WHY it works so well. Down the rabbit hole I went…this works by releasing small amounts of ozone into the air that somehow destroys the scent particles. Seller says it’s a “safe” amount that is released, but there is no such thing as a safe amount. Ozone can also react with chemicals in the air (common cleaners, air fresheners) and produce even more toxic pollutants. And we’re just sticking these in our homes, probably in a small space. If you think I’m blowing smoke, do your own research before you buy.
