Grannick's Bitter Apple Taste Deterrent Refill, 16 oz

Bought to stop our dog from chewing various items. Training and the bitters did finally work.

We have had about bottles of this to help with our Staffy puppy (who are reknowned for chewing everything)- it is brilliant and a life saver - you can spray it on everything (including people) to stop the little nippers chewing. After one or 2 uses the puppy learns not to go near the item/person/furniture to chew any more so you dont then need to keep spraying the same area over and over. I actually decanted it down and topped up with water to make it go further and it still worked. Also it doesnt stain anything so we used it on leather and fabric sofas, carpet, curtains, wooden tables etc...

For the first couple of minutes after using the spray, my puppy didn't like the taste of the spray. Unfortunately, he then ignored the taste and caried on chewing. Someone else I know bought one of these sprays at the same time as myself and reported the same.

It's a good product and it works, but boy it stinks. The stench it's unbearable :-(((

Best price, best anti chew product. I have found this a superb deterrent. We have avoided all the chewing chaos that every puppy goes through. My dog is now 1 year old and going through another chewy stage. By using grannicks bitter Apple spray on anything he wanted to chew, such as furniture, rugs etc he happily leaves all that alone and just sharpens his teeth on his bones and chews rather than my woodwork. Easy to spray. Does not stain.

Works like a charm. We got our pup at 8 weeks old and within a week she lost interest in chewing on furniture or valuables. It took more than one application but might be easier with older dogs who are a bit smarter. When she discovered biting feet this also helped a good deal. Now she's teething for the second time we anticipate to need another round of the stuff but there is still plenty let in this refill.

I purchased two of these refills over two weeks ago and they still have not arrived. I have contacted the seller and they have ignored me and I have opened an A-Z claim with Amazon but still heard nothing. This is a great product and we use lots of it to stop our puppy chewing our wooden furniture, shoes, sofa cushions, books, etc. I would have been a loyal customer but am now seriously disappointed, out of pocket and having to look for another retailer. Don't waste your money. Buy this from someone who actually sends you what you've paid for and has some idea of customer service! Perhaps this bad review will prompt a reply from the seller or Amazon?

I thought it was expensive but it's not if used in the correct way. I have mainly used it on shoes and furniture. She doesn't like the smell. Shoes are better than some of my cushions but grannicks has helped
