Light, doesn't look like cheap plastic. 10 year warranty so it was a good deal

The quality of the grinders is fantastic. I must have owned about a dozen salt and pepper mills over the years, and there are streets ahead of anything else. Incidentally, the salt and pepper grinders are identical apart from the S and P on the top. The grinders are the same. Why only four stars if I love them so much? Well, the colour of the plastic bodies is /slightly/ different to the supposedly matching ceramic Le Creuset items (jugs, mugs, etc). It's similar, but not identical. And I'm such a fussy bugger that I think that warrants losing a star!

Bought this to put pink Himalayan salt in. We already had another of the same type for black pepper. They are excellent quality, with a good, reliable grind and adjustable settings. Perfect size and this pink version is a lovely soft pink (colour deepens from a pinkish off-white at the top to a pale pink at the bottom). Highly recommended if you're looking for a good quality salt mill.

A lovely addition to my dining table. Every kitchen should have a pair of these condiment mills that work as well as they look.

These grinders are absolutely abysmal but look nice. They are hard to clean and constantly block up. Save your money and buy another brand Le cresuset sell the worst grinders on the planet and 400% above the price their worth. I'd rather grind pepper corns by hand than use these worthless junk. If you want one's for show then these are superb, if you want a grinder then these are horrific.
