This jerky is pretty good but not excellent. The smell and flavor of liquid smoke hits you right away, for me it is a bit too much liquid smoke, it seems unauthentic. It isn't really hot either, very very modest heat. That being said it is still pretty good. The meat quality and bite are decent. I'm probably not going to order it again but I am not dissatisfied.

It's been a while since I had some dry beef jerky. Now I know why I loved them as a kid. They last longer than your modern day super tender slices jerky. At first I thought the package was small, but then I took a bite and thought to myself this would last me a long time. I love savouring each bite and enjoying each chew. This is traditional beef jerky, as done in the past. None of that tender meat stuff that most of the brands are selling these days. It's also not overly salty. It's just right. Could be spicier though but all in all I will enjoy this jerky.

So good, perfect amount of heat (don't buy it you don't like some kick to your jerky)

Very disappointed, poor flavor, when it says hot , not even, and the jerky is very dry and hard, buyer beware!!
