The ankle support is a well made item black in colour lace up with lace hooks which have lace holes in them so you can use the hooks (which i dont like) or the lace holes which i prefer there are added velcro straps for extra rigidity / stability it fits well doesn't pinch or bind and does not make your foot sweat , it gives all round ankle and foot support and helps keep the foot in a straighter position this help me greatly ,the reduction in foot ache and foot tiredness is immense , i sleep with it on and, and what it term the toothachey constant foot pain is mostly sometimes fully taken away, occasionally when in bed i need to remove it as my foot heats up but this is a small annoyance as the relief it gives is absolutely fantastic not only for my ankle but because my ankle is supported this helps stop my knee from twisting so its less painful too, all in all i'm very pleased indeed /

I have tried several types of ankle support in the past to help with my arthritic ankle and some have proved almost useless. This, however is the best by a long way. The sides are rigid and with the cross straps and laces giving extra support, the effect is remarkable. As with another user I find that lacing the support up is better than using the top plastic hooks. I went on a three mile walk today and had no pain at all. I can recommend this 100%.

Really pleased with this ankle support... has enabled me to be reasonably mobile as necessary while my sprained ankle mends. It works so well that on occasions I have forgotten I had an injury so have had to remind myself to not push the activity too much. I love the way the straps cross over the foot and then fix up the sides, exactly as if I had strapped with tape. It still fits ok inside my ankle boots, biking shoes, and regular flat shoes (I am not back in heels yet!).The relatively low cost indicates that it is made out of cheaper materials, including nylon, so I definitely need to wear a sock underneath it to minimise sweating (and sometimes one on top too if I want to hide it for aesthetic affect) but otherwise it is structurally well-made and does do a very good job of providing support and replicating taping up the ankle. So yes, well worth the money for the benefit I have receieved from it, and I definitely recommend.I have size 7.5 (uk) slim feet and went for the large. It fits well, and probably could cope well with feet longer and wider than mine.

Overall very good support. Two sons playing basketball following sprains so needed full support. The velcro straps are a bit fiddly.

Really happy with this item, I have useless ankles. Think incorrectly matched Lego bricks, when I twist or turn it's always painful. This support is really strong and let's me play football without worrying about my Lego ankles falling apart

Fits like a "glove"

I have been using this a little over a week and its amazing! My ankle feels very secure, it took a couple of days to get used toand a couple of attempts to fasten but I got there in the end.I have a very weak ankle due to an injury a few years ago and got to the point where I was falling over due to my ankle giving way on me. This product has so far stopped me falling over on several occasions.
