Has been working great under a heavy load for several months. I'm using it for a copper link from a router to a fiber link on a remote switch with a Cisco gigabit multi-mode SFP. Since the SFP slot can accept a range of different optical transceivers, it is more useful than one that comes with built-in optical connectors. Just plan on purchasing the appropriate SFP as well.

neat little magic box
This is a really neat device for dealing with fiber. Ultimately I couldn't use it because they go in pairs usually but one of the two I ordered didn't work. The part that didn't work wasn't the fiber portion, it was the copper portion. Note that this requires a mini-GBIC module.
