Loved it!! Found this book really easy to follow and understand, even the business plan and accounts sections!! Had not realised that there were so many opportunities in the fashion industry. Really inspiring with great images and case studies. Has been a such a help on my Fashion Course at University. Would recommend it to all fashion students.

I am so pleased to have bought this book as the author has helped me to set up and start my own business. I have found the case studies particularly helpful and have found it so easy to follow the step by step guide. I can fully recommend this book for anyone starting out.

Good read and layout. Good tips for starting out

I was urged to buy this book when taking a short course in how to start a fashion label. I think the tutor was mates with the author, Sandra Burke. This book is terrible. For something aimed at designers it has the most ugly graphics and layout ever. It is quite clearly written by someone who has never set up their own fashion business* and if anything puts you off doing so yourself. It has 'helpful' points when discussing qualities a fashion entrepreneur should have like "designers such as Stella McCartney comes from a family of creative people."* Stella McCartney is a great designer but is an horrifically bad example to bring up in this context. What do you suggest, Sandra, to the rest of us who don't have fathers who were IN THE BEATLES. Please don't buy this book. I'd recommend 'How to Set up and Run a Fashion Label' by Toby Meadows (which I've found to be genuinely helpful and regularly refer back to). Or literally ANY other book.*Google Sandra Burke and look at her other book titles. Go on, it's hilarious.*I paraphrase as unfortunately I no longer have the book to quote directly from. I put it in the recycling. I didn't want to give it to a charity shop in case someone else had the misfortune of reading it.

Very informative. It gives you a step by step look at how to build your business and what type of entrepreneur you would categorize under. This book is a must have.
