AMAzon have promised to reimburse me when I go through the faff of returning it. They have made no response to the error in the product description.If you want one for modern Down pipes this is it.

Easy to install, however the design of the valve could be better, it works fine if it’s only light rainfall, but because the hole that the rainwater diverts into the Water butt is small, if it is heavy rainfall the the water cannot divert quick enough into the water butt and therefore backs up and overflows out of the joint on the Downpipe, I had to fill the top of the joint with mastic to prevent this from happening.

This is a replacement for a very old diverter, easily replaced, nice to have a white one. Only slight niggle is the hose is a bit short.

I bought this because I didn’t like the universal adapter that came with the water butt.Our pipe is white square and this is so much nicer as it matches. It is also more robust than the one that needed cutting.Worth the money for the aesthetics.

Das Teil funktioniert perfekt, wird einfach nur zwischen das viereckige Ablaufsythem gesteckt und ist super einfach einzubauen. Das Innenleben ist ebenfalls aus Hartplastik und keine Gummiteile, die sich verdrehen können oder verrotten. Das Wasser läuft innen im Rohr herunter und wird dort in den kleinen Ablauf des Sythems geleitet. Das überschüssige Wasser, bei Starkregen, läuft dann in der Mitte herunter und kann so trotzdem in den Gulli geleitet werden.
