Best dog booties ever! 😍 🐶
The media could not be loaded. Best Dog booties ever! 😍 🐶I was skeptical at first as my little guy has gone through 3 other brand booties previously.I previously tried other brands like the ones that have little draw/pull strings, but they never stayed taught enough around his feet & he would lose them simply walking on road not to mention climbing on trails, hills, rocks/boulders & mountainous backyard. The second pair of store bought ones were the kind that were soft material inside & what looked like water resistant material, but would get soaking wet & couldn't use them for days until dried, plus he HATED the noise the large velcro made & would run away from them.Let me tell you about these little sneaker/boot looking booties right here...he ❤️ 's them!First, I looked at the advertisement & description, then the sizing chart. They looked too small, but it said my exact type dog a French Bulldog with medium size frame would fit.My little guy is kinda beefy for his medium size build, they fit like a glove.Next, they came via prime in true time & very simple plastic bag. Unzip & voila! 4 baby booties. They look a bit awkward at first, as it looks like it would be uncomfortable to stand & walk in them, but I know now that someone spent A LOT of time on designing these. They slip on perfect. My little guy lost a dew claw so I was cringing @ putting these on him at first. He didn't even seem phased by them at all. He let me slip them on. You just need to make sure you push the whole paw area all way in, then I take my finger & go around the whole way so as not to pinch him when closing up, making sure tongue is flat & zip em up, then velcro. The velcro is so small & a very thin strip so doesn't even need to be tight, just taught enough to go all the way around. As you can see in my pics the bottom sole is sturdy & thick. It has great traction as he doesn't slip or skid when he runs, does burn outs & zoomies around. They hold up very well. We've used them for a couple months now & I simply wipe the top & bottoms with a baby wipe if they get dirt or mud on them. My little guy steps in his own poo, but don't worry that too rinses right off the bottom of sole of the 👢 booty. I no longer have to wash his paws off anymore every time we go outside & he's not licking his paws for an hour after he goes out anymore. Thank you for that booty maker!Believe me when I say this little guys 🏃♀️ runs in them & they haven't fallen off yet. I have used them in all types of weather, hot/cold, sunshine or pouring all day rain/muddy puddles and even snow using them average about 5-7 walks a day.The best part is when you first put them on the dog it's very entertaining, so get your camera/phone ready, it's funny to watch them walk in them for first time, he adjusted after few mins & was running in them at the end of his first walk.I research every product A LOT on amazon before buying anything. So, believe me when I say...don't buy the cheapy made soft kind booties, don't waste your time on those expensive rubber ballon ones either, they just wind up ripping anyway, buy these & be done! They are exactly true to size so don't over size them when ordering even though they look small & I felt like I was stuffing my little guys Vienna sausage paws in them at first, but it's harmless & doesn't hurt him & they look awesome as you can see in my pics/video of him.Lastly, I would say after using them for awhile now, that overall hands ✋️ down best booties ever!

Measure the pup's paws weight chart is way off...
I bought size 1,2,3 based on the chart my dog would have been a size 3. Well it turned out his best fit was actually a size 1. He is a maltese, and weighs about 11 pounds for reference. With a size one he can walk and run with no issues and the shoes stay. He loves them as you can see.

Prefer this zipper boot style over the non-zipper style by the same company.
Photos show both style shoes/boots.I purchased both styles (zipper front and slip-on style) and this review compares the two styles. I’m giving this no-zipper style 3 stars and the zipper style 5 stars.I prefer the zipper style because the boot is formed more like the leg/paw of a dog. The non-zipper style is more like a stiff tube sock with a rubber sole on one side. The material is thick, and initially my smaller JRTs were bothered by the stiffness and with their limited weight had some difficulty getting the rubber sole to bend. (I’ve included photos of both styles). The zipper style is more difficult to put on, especially if you are doing it by yourself with a less than cooperative dog. The opening is just wide enough to slip on the paw. The top of the boot needs to be held together to get the zipper to slide up. Once the zipper is up there is a single Velcro strap the cinch the top. The non zipper style is easier to get on. It opens very wide and is easy to slide over the paw, and has 2 Velcro straps to cinch he top closed.I found that the recommended sizing worked for the front paws, but the shoes/boots seem too large for the back paws. I will be ordering a smaller size for the back paws. The Velcro straps on the zipper style don’t cinch closed as well as the double Velcro style non-zipper boot.My pets have never worn shows, and they both took to it easily. A little confusion for about 60 seconds, and then off we went for a walk and a jog. Worked great on the pavement. There was some stumbling at first in think grass at the park, but they got used to that as well. The treat is more that adequate to stop heat transfer and cactus needles. It should work well on snow as well, and the sole provides good traction (not a slippery rubber sole). This is the only brand we’ve tried.

Fits perfectly
The shoes are great! The shoes fit well. The zipper version fits wonderfully and is easier to put on my dog vs a different brand having velcro fasteners.4 years ago I purchased a similar type of shoe (different brand) that doesn’t have a zipper and only uses velcro fasteners to secure the shoe. The overall shoe has been great, but it was time for a new pair.Per the instructions, I measured my dogs paw and ordered a red zippered pair, but the shoe was too big (front and back paws). I ordered one size smaller (the teal in picture) and all is great.I prefer the zipper fasteners to the velcro as the zipper version is more fitted to my dog’s legs. Per another reviewer, I also found the velcro version has too much material (wider) at the top. The wider top has more material that must be gathered around the leg, making the shoe less comfortable. The zippered version is more narrow/tapered at the top of the shoe and my dog appears much happier in the zippered shoe. He walks more comfortably, naturally, too.I’ll be ordering another pair now that I’ve learned my dog’s shoe size.My dog rarely leaves home and wears his shoes daily during the summer months, because he is prone to getting stickers in his paws. The shoes allow him to walk on different services without injuring his paws. Rocks, pavement, running the fields, etc. The shoes worked well, too, after my dog had minor surgery and needed to wear a cone. While wearing a cone, he is not able to clean his paws and the shoes help keep his paws clean during outdoor excursions.
