At first glance appears wimpy but hopefully effective.
I purchased several to use as Christmas stocking stuffers. They come packaged in a holiday looking flat box.

Works well for scratching but telescoping handle doesn't stay put.
(2-Pack) Extendable Back ScratcherI had purchased an extendable back scratcher about 8 years ago but found it didn't scratch, so it was useless to me. These 2 back scratchers are great for scratching. My only complaint is that yes, they are extendable. Very much so. If you extend it even partially & put a small amount of pressure on it while scratching, then the telescoping handle will slide back in. I think my solution will be to set it at whatever length works for me & then use either a hot glue gun or super glue to keep it in place. I'll probably use the hot glue because later on if I pass it to my daughter she can take the glue off & have it whatever length she wants (yes you can remove hot glue after it cools/hardens). For the price these back scratchers are great & I wouldn't hesitate getting them again or using as stocking stuffers for the holidays.

Good Deal at $3.99 for Two
For $3.99 it's not a bad deal, especially since you get two back scratchers that work pretty well. They seem sturdy enough. I was hoping, based on the packaging and appearance, that they would be as robust as the Santa's Scratcher by TUKUOS that I picked up recently on Amazon. The heads are about the same size on both, but the telescoping handle is much more heavy duty on the TUKUOS scratcher. It cost more than twice as much, but I believe it will last longer. These smaller YIMICOO scratchers are okay if you want something portable, but the TUKUOS is the one I purchased as a gifts for Christmas. My photo shows the TUKUOS scratcher on the bottom (it comes with two different additional heads that screw on) and the YIMICOO scratchers on top.

Easily stored
Pretty basic back scratchers. They’re extendable/collapsible which makes them easy to store. My only issue is the ends are able to spin around so they might move when you’re trying to use them. I prefer the claw style but the rake one works fine too.

Love the extendable feature
The media could not be loaded. I love the extendable feature of this scratcher. I tested it on my dog because she was very interested. The only thing is that the stability lessens as the scratcher is extended. This could be a fun stocking stuffer for humans or for dogs haha. I’m surprised at how much my dog enjoyed it.

It's fine.
Think of the most generic back scratcher out there, this is that. But that doesn't mean it's bad.Actually, in this case, it's more subjective than you think, more on that later. Comparing this to the wood backscratcher I bought from the Dollar Store (when it was still a "dollar"), this does have more features such as the ability to extend/shorten the pole. It also come as a 2 pack. There is a difference between the intensity of both back scratchers. The Bear Claw one as you might assume is the stronger one of the 2.Back to subjectivity, while these back scratchers have more features, I'll continue to use my Dollar Store one. In my opinion, the ability to extend/shorten the pole, doesn't really do anything for me. Back scratching is something that should be done effortlessly. Extending it to the right length is already a step too far. It should be just grab & scratch. No fiddling required. Now that being said, there can be an argument for its small form-factor. You can keep it in a place where it won't obstruct with other objects. In my case, I have a push pin on my wall that I can keep my Dollar Store one on by its string attached. This back scratcher doesn't have a string attached to it so it's not particularly helpful to me. Another thing to consider is the intensity. The intensity of these back scratchers isn't really all that strong for my case. A nitpick from me would be the thinness of the pole & grip. It's not particularly comfortable while trying to reach other spots than the bottom middle. In the end, it's all a subjective matter.

Compact but Extendable, 2 options
2 different back scratchers. Red Rake scratcher is 7.5 inches collapsed/26 inches extended, Animal paw scratcher is 8 inches collapsed/23 inches extended. Comes boxed and ready for Christmas gifting. Handles have a strong PVC smell that was terrible as soon as I opened the box. I'm sensitive to chemicals so that was a big turn off for me. Metal heads of both rake and paw will bend easily if you press too hard, so they don't seem very durable. If used to scratch vigorously through a shirt, I'm not sure how long they'll hold up.

good scratchers
My back is always itchy and its so hard to get hubby to scratch it for me or find a good wall corner to rub on. LOL. So in my opinion these things are great. The extend to around 24". They are not super strong but sturdy enough. The claw works better than the rake because its a bit sharper and pointier. I keep one at home and one at the office. I hope you found this review helpful. Happy shopping!
