I'm not sure how this has so many positive reviews to be honest. I purchased one purely for writing and browsing the internet and was pleased to see it came with Word.The keyboard is tiny (as expected) but it would just take some getting used to when it came to typing. The problem is the speed of the thing, it's horribly slow. So bad that even just looking at the BBC News site was a chore. Typing was even worse, I would have to wait for it to catch up with me which was incredibly frustrating.I'm sure this is fine if you just plan to surf the web and aren't fussed about how long it takes, but for me it was too bad to keep so I've returned it to spend more on something else. I'd advise avoiding this altogether.

I bought this in the flash sale for well under £100 so expectations were low but I think it's great as a 'fun' extra machine that's already proved its usefulness. Robustly built and no problems at all so far with construction but you do need to be careful attaching and removing the tablet section.It is a bit heavy when the two parts are joined so probably not the ideal choice if you're going to be carrying it around a lot. Good apps installed and you can download anything else you need.Suggest you leave it on-charge when not in use and it needs a 9-hour charge when you first get it for optimum battery behaviour.My first 2-in-1 and I'm not disappointed for £85 but at full price I would look carefully at the competition.Note: some of the near-illiterate one-star reviews on here look like spoiler reviews to me!

Really happy with the laptop, being able to detach the screen to use as a tablet is incredibly handy. Great for gaming and taking about on the go as its nice and light with a high quality screen. Definitely would recommend.

UPDATE. Have had this for only six months and it no longer works, the software for the apps stopped working and I could not open any apps that required google, it kept saying must update google play but when I tried I was told google process had stopped and that message kept popping up very 30 seconds, I switched it of and on several times but to no avail, I can't even contact the seller as no phone line or email, then everything froze and nothing worked, I got so frustrated I ended up throwing the piece of crap against the wall. This was a complete waste of mony. So it cost me over £100 for something that lasted just 6 months. Thanks Amazon. It is so slow and constantly crashes and every now and then it shuts down, give this a miss and buy a kindle fire. I have had this tablet for less than 6 months and it is the worst buy ever, it constantly shuts down, the apps keep freezing and crashing and the Bluetooth is so bad it won't connect with anything at all. Also the HDMI slot is so bad that you never know when it will stop working, oh and don't plan on streaming much as you never know when it will crash, freeze or switch off completely. Also there is zero customer service and no helpline. Give this product a wide, wide berth.

Absolute rubbish - don't waste your money - bought it earlier in the year and even then it had a damaged screen, incredibly poor battery life and such a flimsy on/off button you never knew when/if it would turn on ... occasionally when did manage to get it to turn on, the screen would freeze and the tablet would get extremely, disturbingly hot and had to leave it to discharge any power before it would 'switch off' ... now it won't take any charge and ready to go in the bin - as before, don't waste your money on this useless item!

This was bought for a friend who seemed happy to use it for a while. The tabs that hold the keyboard onto the screen broke after 4 months, and the seller honoured the guarantee with a quick replacement keyboard. I don't know how long it lasted after that.

It looks nice and is a solid build but even at the price I wasnt impressed. Key board is hard to sue the layout and pad size arent very ergonomic and I have trouble typing better using touch screen. My main issue though is general performance it take and age turning off and very slow going between apps. I think this is nice idea but doesn't have juice to do what it needs, Very slow to charge too.

Completely useless. Do not waste your money. I bought it for basis excel function on a second screen but useless. Everything, and I mean everything takes forever.Gave up after 3 days and now my kid uses it as a tablet, for some apps. If that's your intended use then it's fine. If you want to use the internet, stay away as the resolution is so bad you have to scroll in every direction to see anything.
