Magnetic Polydron Starter Set - Bright Coloured Magnetic Building Construction Shape Education Learning Toy - Magnetic Squares and Triangles - 3 Years + - 32 Pieces

I bought this for my nephew's birthday and he wouldn't stop playing with it, it kept him occupied even when he should of left to go to the zoo!!!. He is finding it fascinating and even his older brother want to play with it. A very good product and I would definitely buy it again for my other nieces and nephews as it is also educational and it also fascinated his parents too!Had to buy some more for my nephew for Christmas as he is playing with it everyday and getting everyone to play with him and make 3D shapes.

Impressed with the quality of the item. My grandson aged 3 plays with it & is more creative than me with the pieces .He will easily have a good couple of years creative play with this toy ahead of him

Polydron is so expensive, but it is good for the kids.

Our daughters nursery got these in and we were soon to follow, they are amazing, our daughter is 3 and has loads of fun building with them, as do my wife and I, I would recommend however buying the classroom set, 96 pieces for around £95, we have now bought 2 sets of this one and that's cost us best part of £80, also now they have bought out new shapes so i'm going to have to open the wallet again, very educational and fun.

The company was extremely helpful and delivered the order ahead of time as requested so that it was in time for a birthday. Nothing but praise!The magnetic polydron is worth the money. All children loved it. ( It did go down quite well with adults too who were found playing with it waht the children had gone to bed)

Magnetic polydron is certainly an educational toy - it teaches how shapes are constructed, without instructions. And it is surprising just how many different 3D shapes can be made with this set.My reason for not absolutely loving it, and rating it higher is a practical one - the magnets just aren't strong enough to support the weight of the construction. In many cases a shape needs several hands supporting it during construction, and only when the final piece is in position does it become strong enough to (almost) support itself. Even then, some shapes are too fragile to support themselves and it only takes a small knock to cause it to collapse. This is a shame because in other respects it is a lovely toy.I agree with other reviewers that the packaging isn't marvellous, but I don't believe that is a reason for not buying - we keep the shapes in an old plastic ice cream container. Soon after opening it I expected to need to buy another set to extend the scope, but I decided not to - bigger and more advanced shapes are likely to be even more frustrating to build. I wish I'd bought the clip-together set, which is perhaps not as convenient but easier to use.I'm really surprised at my reaction to this toy. I was expecting to love it, but the frustrations outweigh the joy. Without the frustrations, it would certainly be worth the money. It is the frustrations which cause me to rate it as "Okay", not the price.

The media could not be loaded. Encourages imaginative play. Our 6 year old grandson plays with it lots.

Very expensive but good quality magnetic construction.

queste costruzioni sono molto particolari. Mi sono state suggerite da un'amica che fa la maestra alle elementari e confermo la qualità oltre che il pregio. Da non confondere con le imitazioni perché qui si paga il materiale e la sicurezza. Si tratta di costruzione che si combinano in modo da fare sia immagini bidimensionale sia oggetti tridimensionali. Il pacco non fornisce molti pezzi ma sono sufficienti per fare una prova, in quanto richiedono concentrazione. Visto il costo, consiglio di iniziare con questo pacco. Per il mio piccolo è risultato un gioco attraente e conto di ampliare la quantità di pezzi per fare anche quelle figure che richiedono un maggiore numero di pezzi.

Je viens de recevoir a l instant ma commande, je suis très déçu car je croyais recevoir le polydrons magnétique dans un seau au prix auxquels je les ai paye et ce n est pas du tout le cas g reçu ça dans un emballage plastique standard nul pour les stocker je n ai plus qua racheté une boite
