A Must Get for the Price – Responsive and Easy to Understand when Tuning Different Instruments
I’ve has this tuner for over four years now and can say it is a very reliable piece of gear that provides better quality than you would expect for the price.I have used this as my secondary tuner to have laying around when using various instruments so I have tested it on electric guitars, electric basses, a ukulele, and acoustic and classical guitars. Surprisingly, it has worked equally as well on all those instruments being quick and responsive to the vibrations of the instrument when clipped on the headstock. There are many different settings available from chromatic mode, guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, banjo, and more. When set on a specific instrument, there is a number displayed next to the note you are playing which tells you what number string corresponds with the note you are playing. This will be helpful for people that aren’t too familiar with the tuning of their instruments yet, so this will help them tune up really quickly as it’s easy to understand. The design is respectable for the price also. The display is lit up by a plain white light and turns green when your note is in tune making it super easy to see. The display can be rotated 360° and tilted forwards and backwards to adjust to how you are sitting and to store away more compactly. There is a battery included which is held in the back and can easily be replaced by twisting the back open and installing a new one.Cons:The performance of this tuner is very dependant on the battery life. When the battery life starts to fade, then the performance of the tuner and the display gets noticeably worse as it’s more unresponsive to notes (especially low notes) and the display gets a lot duller. Also, the strength of the grip isn’t the strongest compared to other clip-on tuners put there, and the tuner can’t be adjusted by the ‘cent’ and is set at the default 440Hz.Conclusion:Overall, this isn’t the most accurate tuner in the world but it can’t be faulted by the price and the ease of use, as well as the number specific modes that will help out newer players to tune up faster. Would reccomend!

before it picks up the vibration - this isn't good of you are playing quietly
I have only given this tuner 4 out of 5 as it is not as sensitive as other tuners that I have. I have two other tuners, one a known brand and the other direct from China for about £2. I have compared this to them, just out of interest. This one requires a much firmer pluck of the string than the others; before it picks up the vibration - this isn't good of you are playing quietly. It also seems to have a much bigger range for each note. This one will be 'green' showing that the correct note has been reached, but the other two tuners require a finer tune before they show the correct note is reached. It is ok if it is the only tuner you have, as you won't know any different and will be very happy with it. It has a clear display, feels sturdy and has easy controls.

Really good product ...for the money spent
I bought a couple of different cheap tuners at the same time (this one and an "ENO ET33" one, also on amazon). This one turned up in good time. In my opinion its not quite as good as the ENO by just a fraction.Build quality seems good (ENO is seems slightly more robust), I love that it goes from blue to green when the scale hits the right note. Easy to operate. Better than the built-in tuner on my electro-acoustic.Tried it on spanish, acoustic and electric (just clamped on the headstock unplugged) guitars, great on all of them. I am sure there are more expensive and better ones out there, but for an enthusiastic amateur this is a great product for the money.

Cheap and cheerful.
A decent little tuner, for the money. Easy to use, ideal for the nippers. If they lose it, break it or generally abuse it, it is cheap to replace. That said, I bought one each for my girls, and they are still in good working order (the tuners, that is (actually the girls are too))

A great tuner at a great price. A keeper.
At the price this tuner represents outstanding value for money. Its very easy to use, although if I had to point out a potential problem it is that its too easy to accidentally move it off your chosen instrument. Several times I've accidentally set it to violin and wondered why I couldn't tune my ukulele! You press the on/off button once to turn it on and then a quick subsequent press (or presses) moves between the instruments it supports. This shouldn't put you off buying one, just be aware of it. I have three tuners and this is the one I always choose to take with me wherever I go.

Good design
I've bought several of these, for friends and family too, and they are good little devices. One especially good feature of this model is that the button to turn the device on or off is on the back so it can be protected by folding the crocodile clip over it. This makes it less likely that the device gets turned on by accident in the guitar case, or whatever, which is good as people tell me flat batteries are a common problem, especially on devices on which the on button is a the front and gets squashed easily.

Does not work!
The tuner powers up and enables you to select various tuning modes but when clipped to my guitar it does not respond to any notes. Seller has ignored a message and a request to return the item.

I cant play any musical instrument sadly, however this was bought to replace a tuner lost on holiday. She is happy an hasn't complained so I can safely say this is a good product.
