Chilli Pepper Pete's Dragon's Blood Hot Naga Chilli Sauce - 100ml

A good punch of heat if you are like me who loves hot food / sauces. This sauce will not disappoint and will definitely leave your taste buds warm and longing for me.

Basically an all-natural, less-hot version of the original Dragon's Blood 'mega hot' sauce. With the heat toned down, the fruity naga flavour can take centre stage. This is still one of the hotter all-natural chili sauces I've tried -- perfect for use as a condiment or relish where the original sauce might be a bit overpowering. Not so versitile as a food-additive though (e.g. for spicing up chillis, currys, dips, sauces, etc.) as the heat tends to get drowned out unless you use a lot of it, which is where the original sauce really shines through. Get one of both.

Bought for the other half who likes extreme heat. Said it has a "good punch" and he would definitely want me to buy it again - made him hiccup - apparently that's a good sign!

Wasn't really expecting the wrong label on the bottle, doesn't fit and the sizes scrubbed out with marker pen. Doesn't really fill you with confidence.Sauce is good though.

This is a delicious hot sauce. Prior to this sauce, the most I could handle was waitrose's wonderful mango chilli sauce. After finishing this, I can now eat the waitrose stuff and barely register anything: in other words, my palette has conditioned very quickly.This is very hot, and I wouldnt want to go above a half / quarter teaspoon on a portion of rice, but it's very tasty and yopu quickly become addicted to it and have it on anything. Lovely.

This was a disappointing waste of money. The flavour is very strongly of tomato purée and had a bitterness to it that I found quite unpleasant. However this company has produced this sauce, they have not yet discovered the right way to release the flavour of the chillies. Or the chillies themselves are not ripe enough when selected. I had to throw the bottle straight in the bin. It’s a thumbs down from me.

I love this sauce. For me it has just the right balance of heat and flavour and it goes a very long way. It is seriously hot but surprisingly do-able. Mmm tasty :-) Get some.
