Excellent quality.
I purchased the Golden Dragon Red Crystal Eyes Fountain Pen out of the options available and was quite surprised. The photograph is a bit misleading. The pen looks to be moderately slim and elegant. It's not, it's big and chunky. Don't get me wrong, that's not a bad thing, in fact I rather prefer thicker pens as I have some trouble with my fingers preventing me from using slim pens like Bic biros, Parker and the like. The finish on the pen is also misleading, it looks like it's heavily ridged from the decoration on the barrel and lid. It's actually smooth, very. Feels almost like there's a plastic coating over it. Also, not a bad thing, this prevents abrasion on the fingers and the thumb web when using the pen. In addition it's quite heavy compared to other fountain pens. The decoration and finish to the pen is extremely attractive, it glitters in most light that I've used it in, the end of the barrel and cap are finished off nicely and the tip sits firmly in the barrel. I've had no leak or spotting issues from this pen either and I've been using it quite a bit over the last couple of days. The finger grip is set slightly back from the tip, so promotes a good writing posture for the hand, and prevents ink transfer to the finger tips. One thing that impressed me is how smoothly it writes. It almost glides over the paper making it a real pleasure to use.Very impressed with this pen, and I'll definitely be looking for others to hand around at Christmas. Everybody should own a pen so carefully manufactured.

Excellent quality
I've had several of these pens and they never disappoint. Good writers and excellent quality. A good weight and comfortable to write with. Really good value for money.

A good smooth writer
This is a very good pen. It however does not look as "expensive" as some might suggest, in my opinion. It is very bling! It writes smoothly with a medium line on paper with a good amount of ink. No problems with the flow. It's worth the money. I have since realised I prefer a fine line and also the variation of the flex nib of the Noodles Ahab. Which after some preparation really writes beautifully, albeit with more friction on the page because it does not have the round tip of the Jinhao dragon. I have given this pen to my son who really like it. This pen reminds me of Smoug the dragon from The Hobbit.

OK
The design and pen is lovely. But it doesn't write properly, it seems as if it is not taking in the ink or the ink dries up within hours.

Just could be the best value for money item I have ever bought!
This pen is everything the positive reviewers have said - and was the main reason I chose to purchase. The weight and thickness are just perfect for me. The filler worked first time from the new bottle of Royal Blue Quink I had just received the same day. The ink flowed immediately and the nib was better than I expected and was very smooth on the paper. I wrote a longer letter than I had intended just for the joy of using a fountain pen again.I thoroughly recommend this pen which has been engineered with the precision of a Rolls Royce! You just have to remove the cap and replace it to see what I and others mean.

Don't buy this pen
I have now had this pen for 6 months and it is absolutely useless. I have tried good ink, cheap ink, the built in ink chamber and cartridges. All to no avail no matter what you do with it, it just dries up within a few hours of working and fails to write. It may look wonderful but what use is a pen that does not write. At the end of the day no matter how good a pen looks if it does not write its pointless.

All that is golden can be very good
I had been looking for a gold fountain pen within the ranks of the established brands at a price of course. Then I came across a number of Chinese brands on Amazon. The prices were very competitive and the reviews in the main positive. So I took the plunge and ordered a sub £10 gold watch. Not much to loose if it was poor. How wrong I was it is a substantial, well made product which writes, for me, very well. How the manufacturers produce at these prices I cannot imagine. Thoroughly recommend.

Just what I wanted.
This is the second one of these that I have bought. I keep black ink in the first and wanted one for blue.Make no mistake though, this pen is big and bulky. It is also pure bling. I have a large collection of pens from cheap and cheerful to some costing several hundred pounds each and prefer to write with this one. This is because it feels good in my hand, smoth barrelled surprisingly and weighted just as I like. The original one has lasted well with no sign of wear and I have no reason to expect anything else from this one although to be fair I take care of my pens wiping them regularly with a soft cloth and flushing them out from time to time. Perfect if you want a solid heavy pen with bling.
