Does key have entry from both sides of lock ?.

No. Only from the front of the safe as should have a hole in metal for key. I had too file mine a little so the key would fit but works great now.

The swing is backwards ftom what i need.the specs doesnot say left or right.help

I believe that lock is only handed one direction, other brands can be flipped. Are you replacing one with the key lock through the spindle hole? Or a different brand and want the key override? If so the keyhole would need to be cut, that is generally not an easy project. If you are looking for a lock with a backup to the electronic lock talk with a safe tech. I have opened numerous safes after someone tried to “fix” it themselves.
