Marcy Azure RB1016 Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike with 8 Resistance Levels

Being a tall man, 6ft3, and having persistent back, ankle and knee issues I needed a way to do some moderate cardio work without hurting myself. I looked around on the net and couldn't find a recumbent bike to fit my height, weight and also my price range!Then I came across this!It fits my height and weight very well and is comfortable!The computer is very easy to use, though I don't believe the computer reflects the actual calories burned as different people with different weights and heights etc burn calories at different rates. So I'd advise you write down how long you've exercised and then find a website on-line to put your time exercising along with how fast you were going (it displays this on the computer when you peddle) weight, age etc into it to workout how much you've done, assuming you are logging calories burned.The dial to control resistance levels is easy to use. It may only have a 4kg but it's good enough for me to do moderate cardio. If you need more of a challenge I'd advise you buy elsewhere.I don't really use the Pulse Grips monitor much so I'm not sure how accurate it is.Assembly was a bit fiddly by myself. I'd advise 2 people do it.Not very big and doesn't take up much space. It's also virtually silent! I live in a block of flats with people below me and it makes next to no noise when I use it.My only problem was with the delivery. On the day I should have received the bike I got an e-mail from Amazon saying there was an issue. I rang them and they assured me it would be there the following day, it was at the depot and would be delivered. I waited another day and still no delivery. I looked in my Amazon account and it said I needed to ring the carrier. Turns out I needed to set a date for delivery, the people at Amazon never told me this even when I rang up. This pushed my delivery date later.Other than the delivery mishap I highly recommend this bike!

I am aware that some reviewers found this bike difficult to assemble. If you were happy playing with meccano years ago it's not too much of a problem. There are a couple of places where a second pair of hands is essential, and there are a couple of wires and plugs in the frame that have to be handled with care but it's ok if you are patient . The instructions are very clear. The bike is very sturdy because the steel is of a substantial gauge. All very good but although there are wheels to help you move it, transferring it from one room to another would be more than I could manage ; so assemble it in the place where you'll use it.As others have said its easy to use , quiet , comfortable and easy to get on and off, brilliant for us olds. The computer read out is pretty basic but you can see how far you have gone, how long you have been on the bike and your pulse rate. I know this is only a rough measure of pulse rate but i was pleasantly surprised that it managed to get a fix on mine despite me having arrhythmia.I was lucky enough to get one from amazon warehouse with some small cosmetic imperfections; very good value for money.The only problem is that I now realise how unfit I am and that I probably should have got one of these a long time ago.

assembly straight forward following instruction booklet;took 3 hrs.I had not seen one of these before and first impressions is it is bigger than I imagined. It takes a lot of space.It works very well silent and comfortable.I have a daily target of minutes pedaling and I am sticking to it, I started on resistance 4 and moved up to 5 after a few days.occasionally resistance 6 of 8.I do feel it is doing me some good and I am glad I bought it.I do not have experience of any other excercise bikes

This seems to be a nice bike! It arrived well packaged and all the parts, bolts, washers, etc were accounted for (and none left over after assembly!). Straightforward to put together (took me about an hour) using the tools provided. Bike seems sturdy, well made and virtually silent in use. It's too early to comment on durability, as I have only been using it for a couple of days, hence 4 rather than 5 stars.

Delighted with this bike. I cant use an ordinary bike as I have trouble with knee pains, and my Doctor recommended this sort of recumbent bike for me..I used one at my local gym. but I didn't expect this bike to reach the standard of much more expensive ones, but it certainly does in my opinion.It is so sturdy and easy to use . I just love it and know it will help strengthen my legs in the future.The delivery was spot on, and the delivery man was very helpful and pleasant.My son put it together and it took him 1 hour and 20 mts.Thank you

Nice product - very very quiet and smooth. Good value but glad someone else offered to assemble as it was difficult-especially for them to attach the tension cables which had disappeared into tube. Also something went wrong with it but again a kind person easily fixed it - otherwise would have had to return it.

Exactly as the picture, good bike a bit wobbly but does the job. Use it every day.

Bought this for my grandmother.Assembling was okay.She really loves it and uses it every dayGood for elderly as it’s easy to get on and off.
